October

I thought I'd start this list early since I see by the stats some are already looking for the September list not realizing I posted it under the August list. So far I'm most interested in the WEN TSV and the Julep TSV. I'm disappointed that the WEN TSV includes classic scents, I prefer seasonals. Last year Julep sent me their TSV to review prior to it airing. I love their products so it will be interesting to see what their 2nd TSV will be. Will it be nail or beauty products or both? It will also be interesting to see what Tarte comes up with since it's been so long since they have had a TSV. I won't be buying it though because the last TSV of theirs that I bought had the worst packaging and two the product's containers broke. Other customers experienced the same breakage. It sold out so I couldn't get a replacement and Tarte wanted me to pay for shipping to return it directly to them. So they lost my business. What TSVs are you most excited for so far? Be sure to come back every Monday to see seven more brands posted. What brands are you hoping to see have a TSV soon? I'm hoping to see Harry Slatkin Candles, Joan Rivers Jewelry, Ring's new whole-home security alarm system, L'Occitane, Luminara, Bethlehem Lights, Josie Maran, Barefoot Dreams, Mr. Christmas, Vionic and Dennis Basso. I heard Tatcha won't be having another one this year, so I can't wish for that one.

Thanks go out to Barbara, Dana, Dawn, Elizabeth, Karen, Kenneth, Lisa, Lon, Lynn, Mary Anne, Michele, Michelle, Nicole, Rebecca, Roula, Ruth, Sally, Susan, Tammy and Terrie for their donations to this blog so far for August. Thank you so very much, you're awesome! Your support is greatly appreciated! Past donations have been in the amounts of $1, $3, $5, $10, $15, $25 and $30. Thank you for the update! I am looking forward to the Lock n Lock TSV. I can never have too many Lock n Lock!!

Anonymous said...

Why is the Dooney tsv?

Wendy Webster said...

You're welcome, Rozio! My favorite Lock n Lock is the porcelain bowls with plastic lids. Wish they would do those again.

Wendy Webster said...

Do you mean what is the Dooney TSV? I expect to know by the 5th of Sept. I'll post as soon as I know.

Anonymous said...

What is the lock n lock tsv.

Wendy Webster said...

I expect to know by the 30th of August.

Anonymous said...

Great, thank you. I am praying for a new color.

Nicole said...

I'm looking forward to Lock n Lock, Baerefoot Dreams and the Instant Pot TSVs. Can't wait to see what items they end up being!

Tanya said...

Barefoot Dreans and GILI - trouble for me! Love my Instant Pot. It is a game changer!

Unknown said...

I hope Barefoot Dreams will be something different than a wrap since I already have two of those. Just had my kimono cardigan delivered and it's perfect!!! A342880 - I want to keep it at work since it's cold at the office but I might have to take it home every day cuz I'd be afraid of leaving it at work :) - Kristina

Patti said...

Barefoot dreams seems too pricey for me, what's so special about it?

Tanya said...

I was hoping the TSV would be BD pants and then I saw their new weekly TSV! I didn’t love the kimono cardigan on me - my shoulders are too bony so it looked awful on me! Glad you loved yours, Kristina!

Unknown said...

Patti, you are right, they are pricey but their wraps, cardis, pants feel so super soft! I know some of them peel, so not a good thing for such an expensive item but I love them anyway. I only buy the items that are on sale. It's like being wrapped in a blanket. - Kristina

Unknown said...

Tanya, yes the pants was a huge surprise!!! I got two more pairs! That's too bad the kimono cardi didn't work out for you. I needed it, unlike you, to cover my huge upper arms! I guess it's better to gain weight there than on my face! :) - Kristina

Tanya said...

Totally agree! I was hesitant about the price but once I had the wrap on, I was in a whole other place. It’s the ultimate luxury and almost cool to the touch. I would like to wear the pants 24/7. Also I hate when knits pill and no worries with that for BD. Check out Nordstrom Rack for deals. They had a pair of lounge pants for $39 the other day.

Wendy Webster said...

I agree, Patti, very pricey, but these ladies convinced me to give a TSV a try and I'm hooked. Nordström has them on their annual sale also, similar price to a TSV. I only have 2 pieces, 2 cardigans, but I wear them so often because here in the south we rarely wear a coat, we need jackets and cardigans instead. I get a lot of use out of them. I'm really not a fan of cooler weather, but the thought of my cozy cardigan helps get me out the door! It feels like a blanket, but it doesn't look like your wearing a blanket. TSV price and easy pay help. I'd never pay retail for it.

Wendy Webster said...

Looking forward to learning about the Instant Pot and why it's so popular these days. HSN sells one also, wonder how they differ and who has the best price.

Unknown said...

Any idea on the Philosophy TSV?

Anonymous said...

Last year I knew what the tsv lock n lock was by august 13, is there any way we can find out before August 30, i just want to know what it is. I don't have to order it. thanks.

Tanya said...

Just got the black heather BD pants and I’m in love! I guess the kimono cardigan looked okay on me but I’m trying to be more selective - cause I just don’t reach for it if I don’t super love it! I loved the idea of a short sleeve cardigan. Enjoy for the two of us! Did you see the new rosewood color on the Barefoot Dreams website? So pretty! Also I totally gain weight in my face and honestly wish that could be transferred to my chest. Ha ha!

Lynn said...

2 KitchenAid TSVs?!?

Nicole said...

I have gotten all my friends and family hooked on BFD too, it's an addiction once you get one piece! The luxury of how the fabric feels (and washes), is something that you can't find in other brands. All my items I have I bought as TSVs or on clearance, I have 3 cardigans, the slouchy pullover, a pair of pants and their poncho that was a Big Deal in the beginning of the year. I have to say that the poncho is now my favorite style! I wore it on the plane when I went to LA a few months back, and although it was warm in California, it was very cool at night and on the plane, and I looked polished and put together, but was wearing the coziest blanket!! I can't say enough good things about the line. I know it's pricey, but if you can snag any of their items at a good price, it's totally worth it.

Wendy Webster said...

Likely to know by the 29th. QVC has changed the presale reveal time frame this year.

Wendy Webster said...

That's a month out, too soon. We should know by the 18th of September.

Wendy Webster said...

Thanks for the review, Tanya. Ha ha :) Kristina, yeah, don't leave it at work, it will definately disappear! Thanks for the review. Yeah, it would be nice if they offered a blanket as a TSV. I'd sleep with it every night! Just too pricey at the retail price. Can't justify buying another cardigan, but that seems to be their fav TSV offering.

Wendy Webster said...

Yep, I checked it's not a typo on my part. The schedule is subject to change as we get closer to air date, but currently that's what they are saying. They sell a ton of it for holiday cooking and as gifts between Sept. to the end of the year. Big seller!

Anonymous said...

thanks.

Megan said...

I'm 5', do you think their stuff would fit me? I've wanted to try it but it all looks pretty big so I didn't want to invest if it wasn't going to work.

Megan said...

If I remember correctly, September is KitchenAid month or their big semi annual sale, so that would explain why they have 2 TSV's.

Wendy Webster said...

Didn't know that, thanks for sharing, Megan. Haven't had time to watch the kitchen shows lately.

Wendy Webster said...

Go to Nordstrom and try it on! The pants would be a no go and I would think that fabric would be hard to hem, but the cardigan should be good in a smaller size or shorter design. Some designs are shorter than others, pick the cardigan that doesn't go too far past the rear on the model. QVC is starting to tell viewers the height of the models.

Megan said...

I will- I didn't realize they were sold there! Thanks!

Unknown said...

I'm tempted to give Crepe Erase a try... but, what is the good age to start using this kind of product? In my mind I'm still young so I'm not sure ;)

I'm not familiar with that brand, but you can never start too early. Biggest thing is to stay out of the sun, drink a 2 liter of water a day and don't smoke.

I got 2 out of 3 covered. Need to work on that (boring) water requirement ;) I saw info-mercials with Jane Seymour - I think it's the same product. Thanks for the suggestions :) - Kristina

Nicole said...

Megan, I'm 5'0 as well, and I wear all their stuff. Their long cascading cardigans are a little long for me, but they are so cozy, and I love them anyway. The pants are long, so I'm just going to hem them. It's worth it to feel that fabric!! The shorter cardigans and shirts are always perfect for me.

Have you ever tried the Julep sub box? It looks like a lot of fun but I don't know anyone who has it.

Wendy Webster said...

Yeah you do, me! I'm one of the 1st subscribers! I have reviewed several of the boxes over the years. I highly recommend it. It's even better now, because you can customize it and even swap out nail polish for skin care products. Plus, they offer you a discount on other products you can add to your box and free shipping. In addition, when you subscribe you get something free, check out my links above under "bargain alert" and chose which freebies you prefer. You're welcome! IBS pain forced me into 2 liters of water a day since I was a teen. Try seltzer water, add a splash of apple juice or oj or lemon juice & ice to liven it up. I don't watch infomercials, but I've made $ off them in the past working from home taking orders.

Lynn said...

Wendy - How often do you switch out your Julep products? Perfect Formula pink gel coat suggests once a week but sometimes it lasts longer.

Wendy Webster said...

My polish lasts from 7-21 days depending on activity and the brand. Most of the time with normal activity it lasts 10-14 days since I use 1-2 coats of Perfect Formula's Manicure Booster as a base coat and Seche Vite Top Coat with an additional top coat applied a few days later. I'm not a fan of their pink gel coat.

Jodi said...

Thanks for the review. I'm going to try a 3 month sub. I have only tried their eyeliner but would love to test out the eyeshadow sticks or skincare.

Wendy Webster said...

You're welcome, Jodi! I'm sure you'll love it! I can't comment on their eyeshadow since I haven't tried it yet. I recommend their foundation (Cushion Complexion). I've been using it for over a year now and it is #1 on my foundation list and I'm really picky! It's so easy and quick to use. Plus the cleansing oil (similar to Josie Maran), sheet mask, primer (comparable to Laura Geller's Spackle with healthier ingredients), finishing powder and their brushes (similar to IT Cosmetics) and their cuticle creme. And of course, I'm obsessed with their nail polish. Many customers are crazy for their charcoal sponge and I recently ordered one which somehow I misplaced, I need to find where I hid it from myself and try it out. I also like their lip gloss and lip mousse which made Oprah's favorite list. I almost forgot their sea salt hair spray for beachy waves and their foot lotion. Plus, their cuticle pusher tool is of high quality, very sturdy. Make sure you are on their email list so that you don't miss out of any of the sales for Mavens.

Jess said...

Do you have any idea when we could see a Keurig TSV?

Anonymous said...

Will the WEN TSV be available as a pre-order before September 1st?

Monique said...

I think you ladies have convinced me to try a BD cardigan the next time they offer one at a good price and on easy pay. But only if they have solid black. One of ones they offered recently was only in the heathered options and I don’t prefer those.

Monique said...

I can’t comment on the instant pot specifically, but I own a different pressure cooker from QVC (Cooks Essentials) and it’s my favorite item to use in the kitchen. I don’t enjoy cooking at all, but this makes it so easy, I don’t mind the prep time. I love that I don’t have to monitor the food while it cooks. Plus the greatly reduced cooking time is amazing. I highly recommend a pressure cooker.

Lynn said...

Tarte's Sept 4th TSV A310452 teased on InsideQ page ... but the link doesn't work: "Sold Out. This item is no longer available, but there’s still much more to discover—keep shopping to find something new to love!" IDK why they do this!

Looks like it includes Amazonian clay foundation stick, Maneater mascara, Lipsculptor, and a palette of some sort, plus brush and bag.

Sharon said...

I'm holding out for Christmas gifts/sales. (says to self...must be strong in the face of cute new things!)

Wendy Webster said...

They must have taken it down, I don't see it. It's quite aggravating the games they play. Did you happen to snag the photo? Thanks for the info.

Wendy Webster said...

I was told tomorrow. I've been searching for it today because usually they give us more time to preorder. Stay tuned, I'm still searching.

Wendy Webster said...

A few weeks before Thanksgiving is the time they usually have it, but last year was the exception.

Wendy Webster said...

:) Monique! We're good little enablers, LOL. $Happy Shopping!$

Wendy Webster said...

What are some of the recipes you cook in it, Monique? That's why I like slow cookers, put everything in and walk away for hours, house smells good and then you eat. Slow cooker recipes tend to be high in carbs though. Hubby is on a low carb diet.

Linda Saslove said...

Hi again, just wondering, it is aug 29, tsv lock n lock???? people are going nuts waiting.

Lynn said...

Yep, they sure did! No, I didn't screenprint it cuz I'm not a Tarte girl ...

Nicole said...

It's up now for sale.

Wendy Webster said...

3 days prior to the 2nd of Sept. is tomorrow, I should have it by 11 am tomorrow.

Wendy Webster said...

Good luck! That's not an easy task come Sept 1st onward.

Wendy Webster said...

ty, Nicole! Did u order? I ordered the Lavender set. Finally down to my last small bottle. I wish the larger bottle was the seasonal scent.

Anonymous said...

Thanks! I ordered a set in Lavender, Tea Tree, and Sweet Almond Mint. I too wish the seasonal was in the 32oz bottle, the 16oz bottle for a house with 3 girls is basically a try me size......

Monique said...

I love making a whole chicken or pot roast in the pressure cooker. Being able to make the chicken in about 45 mins is amazing; the pot roast takes a little over an hour. You can usually buy cheaper cuts of meat also since the pressure cooker retains the moisture better than other cooking methods.

Wendy Webster said...

You're welcome! Tarte set is up for preorder now. You'll love the Julep set, preorder info should be in soon.

Unknown said...

Anyone else notice repeats in these kits? To me it just looks like they threw a mix mash of things they can't sell in a new bag. not to be negative. But, yep that is a negative statement. . I may get it..I don't have that palette. . But, it's been around for a while. They used to have special kits for the Q..like that maneater set with the spotted brushes bag etc. I love
that kit..but it also was the kind lip sculpture lipstick =( in this set.

Monique said...

I was highly considering buying it until I saw her put on the lip shade - I’m not a fan of that color and have far too many lip colors as it is. I’m also not a huge fan of face palettes b/c the bronzer usually doesn’t work on me. Oh well, I get to save myself the $60 now.

rozio9 said...

Thank you for the Lock n Lock link!! I ordered 2 sets of plum today cuz last time I waited too long and my color sold out! This really is a good deal!

Nicole said...

I have never tried Wen, but am always so curious. What does everyone love about it??

Nicole said...

I agree, the deal is great!! I always want more because I bring them places and leave them and they never return to me, so I think I'm going to order the Copper set, I love that color!

Sharon said...

Well...when I cave I'll let you know! :o

Tanya said...

I was watching PM Style and Shawn revealed the Barefoot Dreams TSV. It’s a beach hoodie. I also just ordered the long cardi in the new rosewood shade. Someone stop me! ;)

Thanks for the info. Seems to be an odd choice for a fall TSV, with summer being just over!

I ordered the set in the new raspberry color. I’m happy to hear people love them b/c I haven’t tried them before. Couldn’t resist the deal though - it’s great!

Wendy Webster said...

I can't stand hoodies, they irritate me. ty 4 the info, Tanya! I agree, seems too lightweight unless you live in the south.

Wendy Webster said...

They showed them 1 1/2 hrs early, so it's good that none of the colors sold out b4 it aired at midnight or people would have been so mad. They have sold 100K already, wow. They s/o of winter green which to me is teal. I gave in and ordered the cinnamon to match my KA appliances. You guys convinced me, LOL. I also like the butterscotch, copper, plum (which looks dark purple not plum to me) and champagne. I've only purchased the cermaic TSV set they sold many years ago which I wish they would bring back. A couple lids the snaps have fallen off. I like how the seals are really tight and they wash easily in the dishwasher.

Wendy Webster said...

The Tarte set looks nice I'm just not a fan due to the lack of quality in the plastic containers. After several of the pieces in my TSV set broke within a couple of uses, I was done with the brand. Many customers had the same issue.

Wendy Webster said...

Nicole, I have a really sensitive scalp and it doesn't irritate. Most shampoos strip your hair of oils and then you have to use a conditioner to put it back in, it's damaging to the hair and harsh to the scalp. Plus I try to stay away from products with cancer causing ingredients. It makes my long hair really soft so much so that I've had hairdressers comment on it. One was even feeling it up a bit too much for my comfort level, LOL. It has a bit of a learning curve in the beginning so I started just using it as a conditioner until I learned how much to use and rinsed long enough. It takes more than you would think and rinse time is longer at least for me who tends to have an oily scalp. I've been using it a long time. I get lots of shampoo samples, but I stick with WEN. My favorite scents are ginger pumpkin, winter mint, and lavender. All of his scents are natural due to the essential oils. They never smell artifical, so there has never been one I didn't like. I also love their styling creme, but it rarely goes on sale. They have a 3 pack now on sale. His TSV price has been extended until the 4th, so give it a try! I also recommend using a shower filter. Anonymous, oh my 3 girls, that's a lot of shampoo, LOL! Yeah, I also prefer the larger sizes since it's less pumps.

Wendy Webster said...

I expect to know the Diamonique item # by the 10th.

Tanya said...

I’m okay with hoodies but I’m trying to buy clothes I can wear to work and casually. So hope I can pass!

Monique said...

Darn. I was hoping for a cardigan BD TSV b/c I was finally ready to commit to splurging. I’m wondering if it’s the hoodie that’s already on the website. It doesn’t have good reviews though b/c apparently it’s too short and also shrinks in length when washed/dried. Hopefully it’s a different style hoodie at a decent price - that I might consider.

Lori said...

I am looking forward to Julep and Clarks. I really hope it is an awesome pair of boots.

Tanya said...

I’m thinking this is the Lisa Rinna TSV since they have a video for it: https://youtu.be/7j6kTi-eynM

You'll love the Julep TSV, be sure to check out my review if you haven't already :) Should have the preorder link up by tomorrow.

Wendy Webster said...

yw :)

Wendy Webster said...

No, the TSV hasn't been posted yet. Hang in there, Monique, they have several TSVs a year. Also, search their current inventory, they go on sale including past TSVs. Here's the last TSV I bought: https://www.qvc.com/Barefoot-Dreams-Cozychic-Lite-Drape-Front-Calypso-Wrap.product.A269946.html?upsh=1&sc=A269946-CSWB&TZ=EST put it on your wish list maybe the price will come down more. It's currently $79, TSV price was $59.

Yay I'm excited about the BD tsv! Even if its a lightweight hoodie i get so much use out of them living in the south. Its an essential for our version of winter. Hope its on easy pay so I can stock up!

Monique said...

Thanks for the tip. I’ll check out the current selection on the Q, but there’s a style on Nordstrom’s website I’m eyeing also. It’s the cozychic fabric which I’m not sure QVC offers (I think I only saw the Lite). Living in WA state, I think I’d prefer the heavier weight fabric since I’m always freezing and we get snow here. Lol.

Sweet Serenity said...

I ordered champagne! Love it.

Tanya said...

I wonder if the TSV will be an exclusive for QVC. I think the former TSV Montecito cardi was an exclusive?

Lynn said...

When do y'all think Q will start its extended holiday return policy? I'm guessing weekend of 22nd/23rd.

Whenever I see something that makes good stocking stuffers/hostess gifts, I buy it to stash in the gift closet (3rd bedroom).

Lynn said...

I know Chaz can't make medical claims, but my hair grows faster and I shed a lot less since I became a Wen girl. My hair has a lot more highlights in it when I haven't colored for months! Plus I cleanse a lot less often - during the summer's heat/humidity I would have to shampoo every day. Thanks Wen, I've cut back to once every 2-3 days in summer and every 4-5 days in winter. Which saves a lot of time that would be spent blow-drying and flat-ironing my thick/coarse hair into submission.

I generally use a classic for my 1st cleanse (CA in summer) and a seasonal for my 2nd. My favorite seasonals are: SHL, SCB, SHP, FTP, WVM, and WCM. I'm eager to try new FFA (hopefully not as pungent as previous FAS was - I smelled like a walking apple pie!) and Bella Spirit Indigo (to remove brassiness from my current summer beach blonde-arexia).

Lynn said...

I didn't get any L&L this time around since I already own clear nestable sets in zen, square, and bowls (and they cumulatively cost >$30, so it was a screaming bargain).

I thought it was strange when the Vionic show spilled over past 10P and then they had the TSV "preview" @ 10:30P ... my 1st thought was perhaps Wen's TSV sold out.

Monique said...

Tanya, when you saw the BD TSV on PM Style, did you notice if it had a tie at the waist? It seems like most of their pullover hoodies do. Thanks!

Kami said...

Do you have word on the Julep link yet? I got last years and I loved it. The clear be strong made a huge effect on my nails.
Thanks Wendy.
Kami

Wendy Webster said...

Here it is: https://www.qvc.com/Julep-Super-Size-Nail-%26-Cuticle-Treatment-6-Pc-Auto-Delivery.product.A347938.html?sc=ISRC Sorry for the delay, I had to find it on my own since I haven't heard back from Julep. It's the same price as last year! Thanks for your testimonial, Kami :)

Tanya said...

Hi Monique! They didn’t show the hoodie. Shawn was talking to Kari, the BD Rep, and said something along the lines of “there was a display at QVC of something special coming up - a beach hoodie.” I wonder if it will have a stripe like their beach poncho?

Wendy Webster said...

No s/o, Chaz was delayed suspect his back pain. It would have been nice if they had let the audience in and let us know when he was going to show up rather than saying nothing as if nothing happened. What's weird is they have never shown a TSV early before and now they are extending the TSV price for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd TSVs for this month and extended the easy pay. Do you think sales are down, they are trying something new or they bought too many?

Wendy Webster said...

I don't remember when they do it since I rarely return anything, so I don't really pay attention.

Unknown said...

For the life of me, I can't understand the concept of placing one pocket in the bust area!!! For big breasted women it doesn't work! Looks odd.... or perhaps it's just me?? :) - Kristina. At least I know I won't be buying. Plus dry flat....

Monique said...

Thank you so much for the reply, Tanya! I appreciate the info. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what it looks like when it’s available for pre sale. Hopefully it’s cute!

The Kitchen Aid TSV for Sept. 12th is a hand mixer. It's posted on Inside Q online magazine (QVC homepage, at the bottom). It doesn't give an item number, price or provide a link yet.
Thanks for posting these TSV's in advance! I know it’s a LOT of work and very time consuming. It's very much appreciated.

Nahi said...

Thanks so much for your time to do this blog for us online here Wendy. Can't have too many Lock n Lock's, and can't wait for the Philosophy TSV.

Wendy Webster said...

Thanks for the heads up. Bugs me that Q puts up the pic without a link to preorder. Either someone is bad at their job or Q is playing games. Sometimes they put it up without link, take it down and put it back up another day with a link. So strange. I guess the employee was told they put it too early so they took it down. This one may go missing too. You're welcome :)

Tanya said...

The pocket looks so odd to me too! But I’m small chested so maybe it will give the illusion of something being there?!? It also seems low cut, right?

Wendy Webster said...

You're welcome, Nahi :)

Unknown said...

D&B bag is posted under "new". I swear it's the ugliest DB bag I've seen so far...but hey, it has outside pockets this time! - Kristina

Unknown said...

Low cut as in too much cleavage? It looks decent to me. But I love V neckline. I can't do turtleneck, feels too constricted to me. This top looks too casual in front and too fancy in the back. Weird combination.

I do like this one: A308777. It got delivered to my house yesterday but I haven't had a chance to try it on yet - I come home and change and forget to try it on before I take my bra off :) maybe tomorrow... I like the style but sleeves seems too wide. - Kristina

Amy said...

I thought I was the only one who thought it looked ugly! I just feel like the quality and design could've been better for a Dooney bag. At least I'll be saving money lol.

Tanya said...

Totally agree! It looks so boring and blah. But the leather looks quite nice.

Tanya said...

That top is cute, Kristina! Love it with jeans on Taylor, the model. My pet peeve is extra wide sleeves. I feel like I’m wearing a costume!

Nicole said...

I don't get why they don't do a smaller crossbody at a lower price, they would sell so many more than the large totes that they continue to have!

Sweet Serenity said...

Ugly is right!

Unknown said...

It's aweful..I agree on both counts..But, I like the lining. It looks fresh. I don't care for the red they usually have.

Lynn said...

Chaz did mention his back pain during an earlier show, but not that he was going to skip the 10P hour. He usually has one of his crew do graveyard shift presentations, so not sure why she couldn't have pitch-hit for a bit.

Wonder if extending the TSV prices for the full Labor Day weekend is something new they're testing out before the holidays?

I own the KitchenAid hand mixer in gloss cinnamon. It's ideal for smaller jobs where you don't feel like dragging out the stand mixer.

Tanya said...

Nicole, I agree with you about the crossbody! They would ask tons especially if they threw in a key fob or other accessory. I just bought two GILI crossbodys (A306201) that were the one day only. Totally worth it - and it can be a clutch or crossbody.

Nicole said...

WOW this is really amazing! I really want to try this!! Thank you Wendy and Lynn for sharing your experiences!

rozio9 said...

Today is 6 easy pays if you use your Q card. Gonna pre order my Julep TSV!!!! 🤗

Wendy Webster said...

It makes sense to me to give a couple days to order the TSV since I've forgotten about one airing in the past and missed out. It happens when you are busy, not to mention it's on a midnight, incovenient! But the question is will people still be as frenzied to order if they have more than one day to order? Though it could sell out entirely or in sizes or colors, that will still create a frenzy. I have a Kitchen Aid hand mixer also, it's pretty good. My KA food processor hasn't held up very good though. The glass is all scratched up and a plastic part has to be pushed down now when I turn it on, it may break off at some point. I have a back up mini. Yeah, maybe his back up person was in the car with him and they were delayed. I just thought they should apologize and acknowledge that they were late. It was so weird that no one was saying anything like nothing happened while all of us WEN girls were at home waiting and wondering when he would show up.

Nicole said...

Oh Tanya, I love that Gili bag!! I talked my friend into purchasing it that day, it was a steal!

Wendy Webster said...

yw, Nicole! My TSV arrived yesterday and last night I tried the new Fall Fresh Apple scent in the shower and I'm in love! It's going on my top 3 favs list. Also, it rinsed out easier than others. It smells like apple pie made with red apples rather than granny smith. It's a clean, refereshing, relaxing, comforting scent. Me likey!

Wendy Webster said...

Yippee!

Tanya said...

The leather is amazing! I’m so glad I talked myself into it! Ha ha!

Kristina said...

I like the new lining, too. Not a fan of the red one either. At least we know it is a brand new bag and some left overs. :)

Kristina said...

Yep, the bell-shaped sleeves are ridiculous, and I just noticed they are shorter than a regular length. I do like the rest of the top, though. Perhaps I can wear it under a leather jacket...Will give it a try before I decide whether I should return it.

Nicole said...

It's usually closer to October I think!

Sharon said...

Okay...I fell in love with the Earth Brands booties I bought last year during a TSV. Cute and unbelievably comfortable. I may cave....excited for that one!!!

Monique said...

If I don’t bake very often at all, is the KA hand mixer a good investment? I’ve never considered one of the stand mixers since I bake so infrequently. I’m just wondering if the KA is that much better than cheaper alternatives? Thanks in advance to anyone who provides advice. :)

Monique said...

I actually don’t like the majority of Dooney bags and I liked the TSV tote. I just don’t have a need for one. I agree with others about the lining - I hate red in general so the usual lining is another reason I don’t like Dooneys. Don’t love the new lining but it’s a vast improvement over the red.

Lynn said...

The KA replaced a B&D model I inherited from my mom. The B&D still worked, but the motor got whiny, like it was saying "I don't wanna."

If you're making pizza/pie crust, biscuit/scone dough, etc. you may be able to get away w/using a food processor on the "pulse" button.

Monique said...

I appreciate hearing your opinion/experience with your KA hand mixer. I don’t plan to ever own one of the stand mixers b/c I don’t bake often enough, but knowing the hand mixer will last a very long time, I’ll consider the investment. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts!

Lynn said...

Wendy - Pls stay safe during Florence. Hopefully the meteorologists will be wrong about it just sitting there raining for days on end (a la Harvey).

Tanya said...

Omg sizes are already sold out?!? I forget for which TSV it was, but a size or color sold out before midnight and it never came back. I always assumed they held stock for TSV day.

Nicole said...

Yay thank you!! I’m going to order mine now :)

Anonymous said...

Prayers for everyone in the path of Florence.

Totally bummed about the BD TSV being a cardi. I was looking forward to a hoodie.

Wendy Webster said...

Odds are that size didn't arrive at the warehouse yet, so when it says "sold out" prior to air date, it just means the stock hasn't arrived yet. There will be more up later or by air date.

Wendy Webster said...

It does have a hood

Wendy Webster said...

It's looking better for us now, ty, but worse for others. Wind and power outages are my worry. We are 1st to lose power and last to get it back and surrounded by tall pine trees. We are at the top of a hill and raised our house even higher, so rain isn't a worry. Only time will tell. The other issue is moving to a hotel for a/c not likely, booked by those who evacuated from the coast. Traffic is heavy here.

Wendy Webster said...

You too, Artemis! Crazy direction this hurricane is now taking. Shall wait and see what really happens.

Wendy Webster said...

ty, Nicole. Still waiting to see what happens, looking better now, but who knows.

Wendy Webster said...

ty, still waiting to see what happens, looking less severe now for our area. yw :)

Wendy Webster said...

ty, looking better, but wont know for sure till tomorrow night into Friday. yw :)

Wendy Webster said...

ty for ur Julep testimonial, Artemis! They have the best products! I agree, the Kitchen Aid hand mixer is very good. Yes, odds are it will be a throw, luv 'em.

Wendy Webster said...

ty 4 ur testimonial, Sharon. I need to make time to try on that brand locally to see how they work for my feet prior to buying on the q.

Tanya said...

That makes sense! I wonder for this cardi if the sold out colors were the old stock and the newer colors are the actual TSV. I’ve already bought too many!

Nicole said...

I ordered mine last night because the Heather Indigo kept selling out in sizes as I kept checking back in, now it's completely sold out? Hopefully they bring in more sizes and are holding sizes like you said for the presentation, but I didn't want to risk it!

rozio9 said...

Got my Julep TSV and after the first stroke.....I am hooked. My 11yr old daughter is now hooked too and I used it on her too! I'm really being tempted to be a Julep Maven with that fabulous free polish offer!!!! Thanks Wendy and praying that you don't get slammed too hard from Florence!

Tanya said...

I did the same thing Nicole! I didn’t get my size but I ordered the one size up anyways. What is my problem?!? Ha ha. I have the pants in the Heather indigo and it’s perfect!

Nicole said...

One size up will just be cozier I bet, so I would have done the same thing if my color was sold out lol!

Tanya said...

Hi Artmenis! I read all the reviews and looked at the measurements. I would recommend ordering the XL if you find that you need more room in the arm area. This TSV seems to be fitted in the sleeve. I’m not sure if this helps at all!

Tanya said...

Nicole, thank you for helping me to justify my purchases. Yes plural purchases!!

Kristina said...

This BD card I had 98 reviews already, so it doesn't look like it's a new arrival??? Seems to me like they are trying to get rid of the old stock, similar to what they did with the BD pants as a Q Big Deal.

Of course I had to order one.... SO FAR.... ;) I love the feel of BD tops but I have to admit they do shed a lot, especially on the seat belt.

Kristina said...

I honestly don't get those measurements or maybe it's just me... I'm usually size Small in most QVC tops despite the fact that I wear 38C or D bra! So with BD I order small in sweaters and medium in pants. But mostly because I prefer more fitted cardigans, not super huge.

Kristina said...

OK, let me clarify, I went back to check my prior orders, most BD cardigans I got in Medium if they were size 8 on the chart. So I would stay true to size. If small was 6-8, I'd go with small vs medium. But size 4 would definitely be too small for me.

So if you are true 14, then stay with XL.

Megan said...

Wendy, stay safe in the storm!

I got this in an email today- it is Sunday's TSV. https://www.qvc.com/Instant-Pot-6-qt-Viva-9-in-1-Digital-Pressure-Cooker-w-Accessories.product.K48180.html?cm_ite=MAIN_K48180_IPN:InstantPotVivaPressureCooker&sc=MAIL&cm_ven=APTSV&cm_cat=InstantPotTSV_Week3718EM_20180913_KITCHENFOOD_CAMP9892&cm_pla=10PlusMBS_QVCActive_2108772703&p1=420EA018-3D0E-40E9-B85B-EEBACE10A02F&p2=EE7A9780-C30D-4C47-ACBB-E81DFCDFB3FD&TZ=CST

Monique said...

Thank you again, Artemis, for your feedback on the KA hand mixer. I really appreciate it!

Monique said...

I'm kinda happy I don’t like the BD TSV b/c I actually just splurged on the Aimee Kestenberg backpack that was the QVC2 big deal. I’ve had my eye on it for over a year in black (the color that’s always sold out) and couldn’t pass up that steal of a price! Backpacks are my purse of choice these days, so I don’t mind investing in quality leather ones.

Wish the BD cardigan came in solid black, but I would have been hesitant to purchase anyway b/c of the hood. It makes it a bit too casual for my liking.

Nicole said...

Jill Martin just said on Q the Runway that her Gili TSV is a leather jacket, if you google Kathie Lee Twitter you can see it, she wore it on the Today show today. It’s a peplum, slightly cropped leather jacket.

Tanya said...

I have one of the TSV cardis coming on Saturday so I can report back if that helps. I do remember that Kari, the BD sales rep, has worn two different sizes on air and I didn’t see a huge difference between them. All this to say that I think the XL would probably work!

Tanya said...

Thanks Nicole! It’s faux leather and looked cute. I was hoping for something totally new from Gili but I may be tempted! I have a faux leather jacket from when Lisa R was around and it’s feels like real leather to me!

Tanya said...

There are a few new Barefoot Dreams on the website, including a one day only. https://www.qvc.com/Barefoot-Dreams-Cozychic-Lite-Cross-Creek-Cardi.product.A342913.html

Wendy Webster said...

The link is up now.

Wendy Webster said...

$120 doesn't seem like a ODO price to me, wow pricey! Notice the TSV is even higher in price this time.

Wendy Webster said...

Thanks, Megan, the link has been up for a couple of days now. Power keeps going off and on, day 1 of 3 :(

Wendy Webster said...

yw, glad to hear you & ur daughter love it too, Rozio! You can depend on my honest reviews. ty, day 1 of 3 rain and wind, power off and on. Already sick of it, rare week off for Hubby and being stuck in the house for 3 days isn't my idea of a great time. Praying we don't lose power because they are slow to turn it back on here.

Wendy Webster said...

Yes, it appears they sold it a year ago, very unusual for a TSV. They usually at least change the item #. Why didn't they just put it on clearance months ago!? I find hoodies irritating and heavy, so it's a pass for me. It's also more expensive than past TSVs. I would hope they wouldn't sell old stock as a TSV.

Wendy Webster said...

When in doubt size up, imo. I found the dual TSV sizing larger than the single sizing. The arms always seems to be tight fitted yet around the waist and hips it tends to be very loose. If you are layering you'll need a larger size. If you want it to be very comfy, larger is better.

Tanya, looking forward to your review.

Wendy Webster said...

I agree, solid black would have been nice. I'm quite surprised they aren't offering it since so many want it to match their black winter outfits. Between that and the hood, it's an easy pass for me. Yeah, it's a good idea to put items on your wish list and keep checking for a lower price. smh on how long it takes Q to lower prices compared to HSN. Why keep it in storage, put it on clearance months later not a year!

Tanya said...

Just got one of the TSV hoodies! It’s so soft and heavenly. I did order a size medium - I am always a small. This looked too big on me. Not bad but more appropriate for being on the couch and binge watching, if you know what I mean. The sleeves were fitted but not tight. The body was just too roomy for me. Also because it is a longer cardi and has a hood, the graph/stone color looked like a short bath robe on me. I think it would look better in a darker color but that’s just my personal preference! I think the circle cardi is softer but this TSV is still amazing! Tanya

Wendy Webster said...

ty for ur review, Tanya! The length seemed so confusing to me, the host and the rep had such different lengths, 1 near the knee and the other so far from the knee, can u tell us ur height and how close to ur knee it is? They didn't tell us their heights. Is the BD rep super short? I totally know what u mean, at home u want 2 more comfy, more loose. Circle cardi which one is that?

Tanya said...

My pet peeve is that they don’t discuss sizing!! I am 5’5” and extremely short waisted - the size M was about the same length as the Montecito and Island Wrap on me. It was above the knee for sure! I had it on over a dress which was 40 inches - the dress is knee length on me.

Kari, the BD Rep, is petite. She wears heels so hard to tell! She was in a small but has worn XS for some items. She is busty so she prefers the small depending.

The circle cardi! So flattering - the curved hem really elevates the cardigan. https://www.qvc.com/Barefoot-Dreams-Cozychic-Lite-Circle-Cardi-with-Pockets.product.A280185.html

The sleeves as I said are fitted but not uncomfortable. During the midnight show, Adi looked so cute with a denim shirt layered underneath the TSV. I think I would need a very soft tencel denim shirt for me to layer like that! The sleeves are fitted - but I think the same of their other cardis!

Hope this helps! Happy to answer any questions!

Lynn said...

Yep, KitchenAid just kicked off its 100th year celebration (stand mixer debuted in 1919). So we should expect to see a LOT of them this year! I do wish they would bring back Laura Weathers for this special anniversary year.

OK, I thought this was a bit odd ...
Harris Teeter is headquartered in NC (even though they were acquired by Kroger a few yrs back). They normally send out an e-vic email 1st thing Fri am. However, this week's email was just a message saying that due to Florence, there weren't going to be e-vic specials this week. Wouldn't they have already chosen them in advance so they can prep the email?
