Blue Cheese & Green Onion Crusted Bone In Pork Chop with Green Bean & Heirloom Tomatoes Almondine

Hubby & I both gave this recipe four out of five stars. I'm not a big fan of blue cheese, but combined with green onions and pepper it was quite delicious. I'm also not a big fan of green beans, but combined with butter, tomatoes, toasted almonds, salt and pepper. It's a simply recipe yet so yummy. This recipe has 612 calories and the recipe indicates that preparation time will range from thirty to forty minutes. Actual preparation time was forty-five to fifty-six minutes.

BBQ Chicken Cornbread Pie with Sour Cream & Jalapeño

I gave this recipe one star, Hubby decided to go on a low carb diet so he skipped all the high carbohydrate ingredients in this one. I was not surprised that I didn't like it because I had ordered it for Hubby since this would be something he would love, but not I. I'm not a fan of BBQ. The cornbread part of the recipe was yucky. It didn't turn out like it should have and I don't know what went wrong. I pulled most of it off and ate the rest of the ingredients. This recipe has 853 calories and the recipe card says it will take forty-five to fifty-five minutes to prepare. Actual preparation time was fifty-six minutes.

Hickory Season Salmon with Everything Bagel Roasted Cauliflower

Hubby gave this recipe five out five stars and I gave it four stars. We were out of practice since we took a bit of a break from meal kits, so we forgot to take a photo of the ingredients of this recipe. Without that, I don't have a time stamp to tell me how long this recipe actually took to prepare. The recipe card indicates twenty-five to thirty-five minutes. I remember it took longer than that, but I'm not sure how much longer exactly, perhaps ten minutes. We both love salmon, cauliflower and the everything bagel seasoning, so this recipe was a good bet for us. It was really tasty. Hubby is more of a fan of hickory smoke than I, hence the deduction of one star in my rating. The vinaigrette was scrumptious. The combination of garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, parsley, olive oil, salt and pepper was a wonderful addition to the dish. This recipe has 618 calories.

It was a pretty good week of recipes. Their pork chops and salmon are usually a good choice. If you haven't given Home Chef a try, snag the coupon below and just do it! You'll have fun!
