Holographic Dry Marble Manicure

Taken outside during sunset

Taken indoors in direct sunlight

This is a manicure that I did using three holographic polishes and the dry marble technique with a dotting tool.  I explained the technique in detail in a previous blog post, you'll find the link below.  I started with a purple holographic polish from Girly Bits called Twitterpated.  I applied two coats of Twitterpated and quickly added three dots each of FACE Stockholm's Aphrodite (pink) and Thea (mint) and swirled them using a dotting tool.  For more information on those nail polishes, click on the polish hauls links below.  I've done six dry marble manicures so far.  If you are just starting out, you may want to use colors that are very similar such as the one featured above. Also, my Cherimoya & Valentine's Day designs feature a similar look.  It shows less details, so any mistakes will probably not be so visible.  For a more dramatic look, use colors that aren't similar at all such as my Christmas, Fire and Cinderella manicures, all the links are below.
