Streets of Paris 3-Wick Candle Holder - Bath & Body Works

Anything with a Paris theme has to come home with me, yeah it's like that. Paris is one of my favorite cities. If you get the chance, you really should visit. So I couldn't resist this Streets of Paris 3-Wick Candle Holder. Coming in at $18.50, it's a bit higher in price than the other similar choices. Mind you the base is resin and it looks more impressive than their all thin metal candle holders. I used a 20% off coupon, so that brings it down to $14.80. I read the reviews and one person said they were disappointed that the metal cutout piece was detached from the base. I thought it was supposed to be that way so that you can rotate the metal part to show the section you like the most rather than moving the entire thing. I just looked and she is correct it was glued. The faux stone base has small pieces of glitter that barely catch the light. In the store, I noticed them much more, perhaps they show up better in fluorescent light. The front side shows the Effiel Tower and the rear has the Arc de Triomphe. I prefer the Effiel Tower in the front. I think this one looks best with colored glass candles rather than clear and with the label turned to the rear. It looks too busy with the candle's label showing. If you save your frosted or colored glass you can stick them in the freezer and wait a day or two and remove the remainder of the wax and wicks. Then replace it with a new candle which you place in the freezer to remove from the clear glass. It plops right in if it's frozen. If you're not a big Paris fan, I recommend the Mermaid Pedestal Candle I reviewed previously as my 1st choice, 2nd choice is the Seashell Candle Holder, links below.

What do you think of the spring candle holders Bath & Body Works is offering this month? I reviewed two others, the Iridescent Mermaid Pedestal Candle Holder and the Seashell Candle Holder. The Love & Hearts 3-Wick Candle Holder will be reviewed next.

They are very hard to resist, some of the best they have ever come out with. Did you see the new pink sea glass heart one? I want that one too!
