Ingredients for Sweet Potato Skillet Lasagna with Turkey Sausage
This is the sixth recipe we have made from the Plated subscription box. Wow, this is one of our favorites, it goes to the top of the list. So incredibly yummy, this recipe makes the perfect comfort food on a cold winter day! I can't wait to make this dish again. We were so happy to see another jar of Nello's Sauce in our box! Their sauce is so delicious! This is the second dish we have made with their sauce and it drives any recipe with their sauce in it to the top of our favorite recipes list! I'm anxious to get my hands on their lavender and thyme version, but I haven't had a chance to get to Whole Foods yet. At first glance I thought there wasn't enough cheese on top of this dish, but I was proven wrong once I tasted it. I also thought it seemed strange to cook tomato sauce with sweet potatoes, but it's actually a wonderful combination! We didn't miss the pasta and I can't express how wonderfully delicious this was. You must give this recipe a try, it's perfection! I'm hungry just thinking about this dish. This was another easy dish to make. The only change we made was to bake it longer so that the cheese browned a bit more.

Be sure to come back to see what we make next! I have ordered a couple more weeks of recipes already and plan to continue ordering more. That's another thing I like about this service, you can order several weeks in advance. This is my favorite of the three food subscription boxes I have tried so far. I also like Blue Apron, but not as much since they have less recipes to chose from each week. I'm even less fond of Hello Fresh since the recipes don't have unusual ingredients and we only enjoyed one of the three dishes we made. Have you tried Plated, Blue Apron and/or Hello Fresh before? Which one is your favorite?
