We went to see this movie yesterday and it was better than I expected. I guessed that I would like it but there may be slow parts. There were no slow parts. It was a very enjoyable movie with a complex plot which was wonderful. It made the audience chuckle with many jokes throughout the movie. Kate McKinnon was so funny in this movie, she was a joy to watch. She provided a much needed comedic break from the parts that pull at your heartstrings. Bring a tissue or two, there are several scenes towards the end that probably will make you tear up. The ending while happy may also cause a tear to run down your cheek. There are a couple of surprises which were wonderfully creative and entertaining. Check out the trailer:
If you are a fan of The Beatles, this is a must-see movie. Yesterday makes you think about the choices in your life and how things can be so different if you travel down a different path. There were some scenes featuring lovely scenery best suited for the big screen in the theatre. This movie is theatre worthy if you can I recommend seeing it now rather than waiting for it to come out on DVD. This movie provides a fun ride with laughs, tears, music, and reflection. I gave it four out of five stars and Hubby gave it five stars. Don't delay, go see it today!
