Beekman 1802 - HSN Today's Special Review

Morning Mist Goat Milk Bounty Box

Hi Neighbor! This is a review of HSN Today's Special that was offered on March 16th which arrived on my doorstep today. This is a "bounty box" which is offered on auto-delivery which ships every 3 months for a total of 4 boxes in a year. The retail value of this first box is $113.00. The Today's Special price was only $65.00. The Spring shipment included the following products:

  1. Morning Mist Goat Milk Bar Soap - 3 full-sized bars, 9 ounces each, $45.00 retail value
  2. Spring sounds on the farm music box
  3. Morning Mist Pure Goat Milk Whipped Body Cream, 8 fl. oz., $38.00 retail value
  4. Morning Mist Lip Balm Stick, .15 oz., $8.00 retail value
  5. Morning Mist Goat Milk Hand Cream, 3.4 fl. oz., $22.00 retail value

I passed on the preorder, but once I saw the presentation and heard about the auto-delivery shipments I changed my mind. I've decided to stop buying Josie Maran's line and use only the Beekman 1802 line. The goat milk really works well on my sensitive, dry skin. I've tried their soaps and lip balm before and reviewed them. Their soap is amazingly moisturizing even during the dry winter. I found on days when I didn't use body cream it wasn't a big deal because the goat milk soap had done such a good job moisturizing. I love how their body cream sinks into the skin so quickly and it doesn't leave any oily residue. It has goat milk, argan oil, coconut oil, aloe, cocoa & mango seed butter, and palm oil in it. The hand cream has shea butter, goat milk cocoa seed butter, and jojoba in it. It takes just a tiny amount of the hand cream and it absorbs quickly leaving no greasy residue. I was a bit nervous trying a new scent without first smelling it, but I trust the Beekman brand. I am thrilled that I love the scent. It reminds me of a Perlier scent I use to buy from HSN a long time ago. It has lily of the valley, jasmine and magnolia flower scents. It's a wonderful powdery floral scent that I love. All of the products are free of sulfates, parabens, petroleum, and phosphates. The next three shipments will include the following scents:

  1. Summer - Meadow Lark featuring lilac mandarin and amber
  2. Autumn - Falling Leaves featuring ginger, honey, sage, and lavender
  3. Winter - Wonderland featuring cedar, sandalwood, cardamom, and tea tree

Each one comes in a sturdy cardboard box with a magnetic closure that can be reused as a box to store stationery, photos, jewelry or whatever you decide! Look at the beautiful artwork on the top of the box:

Inside the box is another photo of a beautiful goat. The velvet flocked holder can be removed so that you can reuse the box. In each box, there is also a music box that plays the sounds of their farm for each of the four seasons. The Spring one has sounds of birds, it's lovely. Once you tap the button it plays a short time and then it shuts itself off. I'm not surprised the Beekman Boys came up with such a lovely idea to make these bounty boxes even more special. If you aren't familiar with the Beekman Boys check out their reality show on DVD. Hubby recently purchased both seasons for me and I really enjoyed watching the shows back to back. They will be visiting QVC on April 2nd, so tune in at 12:01 am for another Today's Special. I have also reviewed their wool laundry balls and diffuser, so check that out before you go. I plan to review the Beekman Happy Place line of cleaning supplies and laundry detergent soon, so stay tuned. I love their products! Have you given this brand a try yet?

Bargain Alert - June 29th One Day Only, $5 cheaper than the HSN TSV price at QVC! If you missed out on the TSV, now is your 2nd chance. July 26th - off the waitlist and on sale for $65.95 or 6 payments of $10.99 (95 cents more than TSV price). #RewardedByQVC

Have a PEACEful Day!

  1. This is a wonderful review, thank you so much for sharing! I have been curious about the Beekman brand, so this is really informative! I will definitely tune in when they are on QVC next month to learn more about the brand. The packaging sounds similar to Tatcha's which I feel is more of an experience than just receiving a package in the mail. Thanks again for sharing!

    1. ty, Nicole :) Yes, their packaging is awesome, wonderful artwork. I know some brands say they like to save money on packaging and pass the savings on to their customers, but to me I'm thinking nah, it's going in your pocket. For me pretty packaging motivates me to buy it and use it. It's part of the experience! I ran out of my Tatcha eye cream and my sample from another expensive brand isn't working, the fine lines are back. I wish the TSV had a larger size like the previous TSV. I still have plenty of the other products in the TSV so can't justify having another shipment on my a/d yet. Bummer.

  2. WOW, what amazing products the boys have brought to the world. I was able to finally order many products last week to try and I love everything I've received so far for my hair and skin. This is now my go to brand for my entire skin, hair, body needs better products for your overall well being. Continue to make amazing products for the world.

I need that schedule to know when you guys are on air.

    Sincerely,

    Elle
