What TSVs are you most excited for in January? I'll be looking forward to Vionic and IT Cosmetics, but this time of the year I'm basically on a spending freeze. A Josie Maran TSV!!!? I already purchased so many products for the holidays that I have a huge stock pile. Curious to see what her TSV will be but likely won't be purchasing since I don't need anything.
You're welcome :) Lock n Lock is usually pretty cheap. Not familiar with Anybody and Mally hasn't had many TSVs lately. She sold her co so that usually means quality goes down. I returned the Disney set I bought, wasn't happy with it at all and I rarely return anything.
It's best to stock up during the holidays, prices are best then so no worries. Her stuff must be selling like hot cakes!
Have you ever tried any of the food items on QVC? I was tempted by some over the holidays that looked like good hostess gifts but have never tried....
I buy a fair amount of their food. I really like the Juniors Cheesecake, I buy it every year, and also the Cushmans honeybells (which I haven't seen yet this year). I like some of the Germack mixes, I only buy them if they don't have anything in them that I'm not a fan of, and if they don't have peanuts or other cheap fillers because usually then the jar is basically just that stuff. I've also bought the biscotti, enstrom's candy, harry london candy (that would be great for gifts- we bought it one year for that) and all of those have been good. The only things that were only okay were the perfect gourmet potstickers (they were described really accurately, they do have a really thin wrapper, I just don't like that) and a couple of things from squirrel brand.
I've reviewed the croissants, Molly. They are wonderful. I've tried several of the dinners over the years and they were tasty. If you don't like it or it's damaged in shipping they refund you and no need to return. Didn't like Junior's Cheesecake, Mrs. Prindables nor Germack. We liked several of The Perfect Gourmet dinners and they are quick and easy to make. The best time to order is during the cold months. I don't recommend shipping frozen food during the hottest times of the year even with dry ice they arrive unfrozen. While they will give you a refund if it arrives unfrozen, I hate wasted food. Also, keep an eye on the prices, they vary a lot and the more you order the lower the price. There are usually various quanties they offer for the same item. Prices are usually better while they air. I have tried the potstickers. It’s hit or miss for me. I ordered the landies pretzels this tear. They were horrible! I was going to give them to my veterinarian and her staff. I’m glad my daughter wanted to try one first. QVC was wonderful and gave me a refund. I found the biscotti for less money at home goods.
Oh no!!! I see another LUG tsv!! I reeeeeeeeealy hope it's something I don't like! I'm a total LUG Nut!
I've ordered the following food items and had no complaints:
* KC Steaks - bacon wrapped filets
* Stuffin Gourmet - lemon and garlic chicken
* Authentic Gourmet - see Wendy's review!
* Junior's mini cheesecake asst - didn't care for the carrot cheesecake; had to scrape off flaked coconut from lemon cheesecake (allergies)
* sister gives us Mrs. Prindables at xmas and they were fine.
The IT TSV is up: A352694. Looks interesting. I've never tried a foundation like that from them. Seems perfectly timed for dry winter skin.
I was hoping for a supersize of the CC Matte but I think that will be more towards summer.

We purchase a good deal of food items. Our absolute favorite is the Enstrom almond toffee petites in milk chocolate. We always have some on hand b/c it’s the best toffee we’ve ever had - not too hard or sticky. We also love the David’s cookies cookie dough. Our favorite Germack (and the only one we order) is the Cashew Cranberry Milk Caramel Sea Salt Truffles. It’s only available during colder months b/c of the chocolate content, so we stock up while we can. Lastly, we’ve had good luck with Corky’s BBQ items also. I just try to buy items that have more meat than bone if possible b/c I feel it’s a better value.

I’ve lucked out so far - both TSVs I was possibly interested in, Anybody and Laurie Felt, are both items that don’t appeal to me. I’m trying to cut back on my spending after going a little overboard during the holidays, so, so far, so good. Lol.

Has anyone used the Supersmile system? I’m tempted to try it b/c they claim it won’t cause sensitivity, which is often a problem for me. Would love to hear thoughts from someone who’s tried it. Thanks in advance!
I tried it last year. I have extreme sensitivity and it didn't cause any extra. I didn't have the super results that they advertise but it did lighten my teeth a bit. I ordered it in mint and it was a really nice refreshing tooth paste.
Last year it was 2 full size sets instead of 1 full and 1 travel size. So much more expensive this year IMO. You would probably need two TSV to last a year instead of one .

Yep, plus I'm not a fan of horizontal stripes. I get most of my casual (but still office appropriate) shirts at Kohl's, where I NEVER pay full listed price. BTW, Lands End and LL Bean also sell pima cotton tees, so I would check there 1st.

I tried it, but it doesn't whiten like they state. I find some people have much better results than others. I either use my sensitivity toothpaste am and whitening in the pm or put a pea sized amount of both toothpastes on my brush both times. I find Go Smile works better and tastes better.
Yeah! It def is a pretty high price for a TSV, i'm passing on this one.

Josie had an Instagram live session & she said her Jan. 29 TSV would be the Argan face milk, newer Argan body milk, Face butter and body butter!! The choices are unscented or Vanilla Apricot (the Argan milk is Unscented in both kits, but if you choose the Vanilla Apricot it pertains to the body milk, face butter and body butter!). Hope this helps- I enjoy reading your blog!! :-)

Go for unscented then, Jenna. I'd prefer more choices also. You could add a few drops of 100% essentials oils to it to add scent. I recommend the Aura Cacia brand found at Vitacost. I prefer the unscented face butter, I found the formula to be different not sure what, but it didn't feel the same on the skin.
Wendy, based on the information do you think you’ll purchase? I wonder how much it will cost. I’m guessing about $80 since that’s what most of her TSV’s sit around... if you do order would you get the unscented? I am torn as i want to try the body milk and i need more milk, but not more butters. I will probably end up with the vanilla apricot if i do order - depending on price of course. Hope it comes with free shipping..
Well.....I guess I'll be saving money on the Mally TSV. I already have a ton of sticks, liner, etc.... I'll be saving my money for the Lock n Lock TSV and the upcoming LUG TSV instead!!!!!!
I’ve been wanting to try the face butter, but would have to get unscented b/c I refuse to use any skincare that has fragrance. Wendy, you said you like the formula of the unscented better? That might convince me to purchase. That said, I didn’t like the Milk for my face. Going to try it on my body instead, but I sometimes pass on her TSVs that include Milk for that reason.
Seems like an odd TSV to me.
I'm going through my latest jar of face butter so fast, dry winter skin so I'm buying the TSV. 10 weeks of use and I'm at the bottom. 3 products I love and 1 I want to try and 6 payments, can't resist. Bought scented because I'm not motivated to apply to the body without some aromatherapy! I guessed $80 also, it's $69.96 + 3 s/h. You could gift or sell the butter. No free s/h, but if they have a free s/h day b4 it ships u'll get free s/h. If you bought the 2 milk products separately that's $100, so it's like getting a discount and 2 products free! What don't you like about the butter?
It's up now for preorder. Do you have dry skin? I wouldn't recommend face butter for combo or oily skin, the milk is ok though. Yeah, I thought it was better unscented. What didn't you like about the milk?

Yes, I have very dry skin. Especially in the dry winters in Washington state, but really all year round I’m dry. I felt like the Milk broke me out (I still get acne occasionally despite my dry skin) so I stopped using it. I prefer her regular argan oil. I use it over my moisturizer day and night and my skin loves it. I’m disappointed the body butter isn’t the large size b/c other than the argan oil, that’s my favorite product from her.
Lock and Lock TSV is A 10 piece pantry set with many color choices. 24 bucks and change. K48248. I can't upload the pic but it looks nice!
Has anyone tried Josie's new Hemp seed and Argan oil 50/50 blend? It's on QVC for $65 but just unsure if it has a strong odor (i'm sensitive and get a huge migraine with the smell of hemp). Item number is : A353901

I’m sad to see the Lock and Lock TSV doesn’t come in the bright pink color the last TSV came in. I wanted to start a sizable Lock and Lock collection in said color and make the pantry set my next addition. Bummer.
@monique yes, I was sad to see that they didn't have the "plum" available but that's OK. I'm thinking of getting a set in the pretty green color to compliment what I have. I just wish they would charge less for shipping!
If you live near a Sephora you should see if they have it and try it there. I always get a sample there before buying on QVC if available so I know the right shade, etc. I just started using IT and if I had not gone to Sephora first I would have never ordered the right shade. I know QVC offers free exchanges but if I can get it right the first time it is much easier.

Call your local Sephora and see if they have it in stock and sample it there. Also, read online reviews. I checked and one said it smells nutty, she said "It has a nutty smell which I can't get enough of." Another said "For those of us that are sensitive to smells, take notice... the smell is pungent when first applied. Might take some getting used to." So you may want to have a sniff yourself first, two different opinions!

Yeah, I go to Ulta to check out some brands prior to purchasing them online. There have been a couple items that were a big no, so it saved me having to return 'em.

Are you referring to Mally TSV? If so, she said the shadow sticks were new. I've bought her shadow sticks b4, so maybe she's referring to the color being new. That set almost looks like she threw together a bunch of overstocks.

Thank you for your reply. I’ll probably watch the presentation at midnight and see if any of the colors appeal to me. I just know many people collect Lock and Lock and are able to get their color consistently. I guess I happened to choose one that isn’t going to be available all the time.
I’ve been wanting to try some Briogeo products, but have chosen to purchase them from Sephora rather than QVC since the return process for the former is much easier (I can do so at my local store so no return shipping). I tend to hesitate when buying beauty products from QVC b/c I know I’m very picky. Lol.
Very true Monique. I really look forward to a purchase and if it is not right when it comes in the mail, returning it seems so inconvenient. I bought my daughter a clarisonic for Christmas at sephora. The base that charges it in stopped working and it was a quick drive to the mall to exchange it.
