I hope you had a Happy Christmas and a wonderful New Year celebration! What did you think of the holiday TSVs this round? Were there any missing brands that you love? I'd love to hear what you think, comment below! Since the February list was getting a bit long added to the bottom of the January list, I decided to post it separately now rather than waiting. QVC has been training even more new hosts, I noticed a couple during the night owl shows. That's when they start doing live shows since fewer people are watching. It appears that they are letting go of the older hosts who don't sell enough and bringing in a younger crowd. How do you feel about that? I've heard they are trying to target younger people, trying to bring in new customers. I guess everyone there is nervous about losing their job due to the changes since the parent company of QVC completely bought out HSN. I imagine we will continue to see changes as they experiment to find out what works best. Many brands will now be sold on both channels. Notice the HSN TSV lists have several very popular QVC brands now. QVC is also supposed to get some HSN brands.

Sorry for being AWOL, but my mom gave me a nasty case of bronchitis as a late Xmas present.
Yep, I noticed some of the last batch of new hosts (eg: Kristine Zell, Courtney K) making appearances during the 6-8A shows vs. graveyard shift.
Did you notice that when "Sundays w/Carolyn & Dan" ended, they were quick to say they aren't going anywhere, just not working together any more?
Are you feeling better now? Bronchitis is awful, I find as I've gotten older it takes longer to recover and it's worse. I don't watch the Dan and Carolyn show, not convenient. I find Carolyn's voice irriating most of the time. Lately, I mostly watch the TSV at midnight and a bit after that or when I can't sleep and I have it on during the daytime not really paying attention while doing something else. I liked Dan in the am with Pat. They both have soothing voices that don't irritate. Dan should do audiobooks.
Lisa Robertson was my favorite host, ever since she left QVC has not been the same. I find myself not interested anymore, I understand change is necessary, but too many for me I'm out. Still enjoy checking out your blog tho. Girl I had the same problem with a BBW candle order, I understand. Have a great day.

I’m so happy to hear you’ve had great luck growing items from cottage farms. I ordered some plants for my dad to attract hummingbirds during the pre-season event. He only grows plants they’ll like because they’re basically his favorite thing ever. Lol.

Where's he going? I haven't had luck with plants from QVC. Only 1 Hydragea still alive, the rest died quickly. I was always so shocked at how young and small the plants were. I have better luck with Walmart, Home Depot and Lowe's.

I am DYING to find out what the LUG TSV is!!!!! In the meantime....I think the Skechers in Navy is calling my name... I have several pairs of similar styles, and I can honestly say they are the most comfortable casual shoe ever! I wear them daily. I've had them for years and they are very durable. Nice wide toe box too. I highly recommend these Skechers!
He lives in eastern Washington. He’s used to buying the same type of plant locally, but paying a bit more. I figured these were worth a shot and if they don’t work out, he can go to the local plant sale that happens twice a year or his favorite local nursery. He thinks he’s too sophisticated for the big box stores, though in his defense, they often don’t have his favorite plants anyway.

I have the shrug in CozyChic and love it! Looks great with jeans and over a dress. I’m not a shrug fan so I was pleasantly surprised.

I didn’t like the styling video - seemed like they put random stuff together and called it a look. Any and Shawn will rock it with jeans, a simple v neck T-shirt and heels! And yes I already bought the shrug....I’m short waisted so this will be a good length for me. That is how I justified it!
That's nice! I ordered the IT CC Cream w/ brush a few weeks ago. I got an email from QVC saying it had recently aired for a lower price and they credited my cc the difference. Honestly I never would have known about the price difference. That was really nice of them. It was $8.04!
I have mixed feelings about this shrug but I ordered it at TSV price and figured I will return it if I don't like it. I also got the pullover while it's offered at a featured price - A350617 - but I received it yesterday and it's very thin so I'll probably return since it's $101 with s&h and taxes and I feel like it's not worth that price.

Totally agree about the pullover! It’s really soft but it didn’t fit me quite right. And I looked like a preteen boy in it. I have the T-shirt in the same material and love it.
I ordered the Mystic Seaglass for my 11yr old as an "early" bday present before we go on vacation this summer. She loves my Scoop but that is a little too big for her. She doesn't need all that room anyway. I think Mommy might "borrow" her new bag once in a while.....!
I like them both! Obviously, they are trying to market a younger crowd...... however, I wish they would hire a few more real world overweight models instead of all the XXS ones they have! LOL!!

Yeah, I feel like they could have found a more diverse group of new hosts (I'm not really talking about race, I mean they all seem to be from the same area of the country with the same hosting style and similar backgrounds, so it's kinda boring.) And yeah, I am already getting used to the new stuff, but I don't like the music either.

About the pullover hoodie you both mentioned, how did the arms seem? Were they tight/small? I nearly purchased the pebble beach hoodie but all the reviews said the arms ran very small and that would never work for me. Also, thank you in general for your comments. You two have likely talked me out of buying a pricey hoodie, so thank you. :)
Happy to help Monique! :) I bought two sizes in the pullover hoodie. I am almost always a S in BD but since they recommended sizing up (and who wants a tight hoodie?), I also got the M. The M was slightly too loose in the body but the S was too tight. I don’t have large arms but the S felt too fitted - the M was perfect in terms of room in the arm. In general, I prefer clothes not too fitted, but not too baggy if that helps!

Hello. Sorry I don't visit here often enough. I got the pullover in Medium despite their advise to size up because I ordered before it was presented on air. I did wear it to work last Friday ONCE. I discovered that while it fit me and I do like fitted look, it was way too tight. Too close to my neck and probably not the best look for a pullover. That being said, I did get some extra weight in my arms recently but I didn't notice being uncomfortable in Medium size. So, perhaps it depends. Funny sometimes I read negative comments about an item I find totally perfect and other times it's the opposite. I do like the shrug i got in carbon. I'm planning to wear it to work tomorrow. Will wear it with jeans and a longer top to cover my booty :) - Kristina
So in February I was tempted by 3 TSVs - 1. Breezies bra in aqua, mostly because of the color. I like it but I did notice today that I started to ride up a bit which of course is NOT a good thing for a bra. Fortunately I had my BD cardi on so I was covered. Will probably keep it to wear on my days off which are NOT very active. 2. BD shrug as mentioned above. 3. SG tunic mainly because it's pretty and it's a twofer. :) - Kristina PS. OH!!! And btw..... I don't see free shipping either! maybe it was a flash sale and I missed it?
I find the new item graphic on left side of screen harder to read ... it is much easier to read dark letters on a white background than white letters on a red background (eg: can barely make out s/h charge). Plus not everyone has gargantuan flat screen TVs, so the graphic (or at least the font) needs to be bigger.
Why is that whenever something claims to be "new and improved", it's actually not?
Now my car is in the shop. The brakes were making a grinding noise and my stopping distance is longer than it should be. Brake pads, rotors, fluids plus new tires (which I knew I needed, but I'm managing one credit card cycle at a time). So that's $1,800 I wasn't planning on spending.

The KA is a great price ... I bought the 5Q tilt head mixer several years ago and it was >$300 plus almost $20 shipping. Mine came w/glass bowl (rather than SS) and flex edge beater (when that attachment was new). I bought a SS bowl, pouring shield, and cover separately from Target. I've had my eye on pasta attachments.
Note the Costco model Wendy cited is a bowl lift rather than tilt head, if that matters to you.
I just looked at the program guide on the website and It Cosmetics is listed as the TSV for tomorrow, not the laptops, anyone else see this?

I haven't had enough time to watch to hear any different music, you mean for the TSV? Not impressed by their new logo, I can only imagine how much $ they spent for that, LOL. I find it odd they asked customer's opinion of it after they chose it. Seems like they should have presented several options and ask for opinions prior to choosing one. I think they should go back to "Q - quality, V - value, C - convenience" or chose our nickname the Q. Not a fan of their color choice either.

The tarte TSV is PROBABLY the set they have on QVCUK.COM. It's the water foundation, a gloss, mascara and I think the third rain forest of the sea shadow palette. They usually run similar sets.

No, it is just another set of things they are trying to get rid of IMO. That bottle they have changed and that foundation is not good for dry skin. I might have gotten the QVC UK set but the second ingredient on that lippie is aluminum starch..I do not want to eat aluminum all day. NO THANK YOU.
