Fall has arrived so it's time to purchase your fall candles to bring the scent of fall to your home. ScentWorx generously sent me some of their candles to review for you. Today I'm going to review six of them to help you decide which ones you would prefer. They are all 14.5 oz., made in the USA with essential oils, and have a burn time of up to 40 hours. They have a retail value of $24.50 and are currently on sale at Kohl's for $17.15 each. As shown in the photo above, they are the following:

I have reviewed Sugar Cookie previously, it is one of my favorites from last fall and winter. It is currently available with two different labels. Your choice of the brown one as shown above or a red, green, and white version with a photo of Christmas cookies. ScentWorx placed my description of this candle on their Instagram page. I said, "If you are a fan of cookies baking in the oven you must grab a Sugar Cookie candle! But I warn you, you may find "Sugar Cookies" written on your grocery list." Needless to say, I purchased several of these last year and I'm happy they brought it back. If you enjoy the scent of vanilla bean, buttercream, spun sugar, and sugar crystal this is the candle for you. It is a very strong candle, it will fill a large room with the scent of cookies quickly. It would be perfect for an open house. Realtors grab multiples of these!
Vanilla Chai is described as vanilla sugar, warm clove, ginger, and sweet molasses. It currently comes with a brown clear glass container and a brown label as shown above. For those that don't like too strong of a clove scent, this one is for you. It has less of an earthy tea scent and more of a sweet scent with a hint of clove. To me, it smells like buttermilk pancakes with hot pure maple syrup poured on top. I've purchased this one before and recommend it.
Vanilla Sugar is new this year. It's currently sold as shown above with a light peach-colored clear glass and a peachy pink label. It's described as vanilla, succulent fig, spun sugar, and coconut cream. It's a sophisticated version of Sugar Cookie. It's a warmer less sugary scent. It is lovely, it's less like to make you crave cookies compared to Sugar Cookie.
My Love is also new this year. It comes in one design with clear dark purple glass and a glittery purple label. Burn this one in the evening since the candlelight enhances the glitter on the label. It is described as black beauty rose, black currant, gilded amber, and jasmine. The black currant is the strongest followed by jasmine, amber, and then rose. It's a unique combination, it can't be compared to others. If you want a candle that has a new combination and you enjoy fruit and floral scents, give this one a try. It would make the perfect gift for a woman since the clear purple glass and the glittery label make for a beautiful presentation. I'd just add a bow on top, no need to wrap this one.
Honeydew Cucumber is described as honeydew melon, watery cucumber, sweet honeysuckle, and white amber. This candle quickly fills the room with the clean, fresh scent of honeydew melon. As the pool of melted wax fills the jar from side to side the scent of cucumber arrives with the addition of amber and a whiff of honeysuckle adding to its complexity. It's a wonderful spa scent. Grab a sheet mask, light this candle, apply your sheet max, close your eyes, lay back, and enjoy a relaxing spa day at home.
Bamboo Leaves is a returning scent with frosted white glass and a green label. It is described as bamboo, green leaves, hyacinth, and sheer amber. We burned this candle all day Sunday. It's one of those candles that sets a relaxing mood which you never tire of. The beautiful hyacinth scent is strongest with amber in the background and a hint of bamboo and green leaves. The floral scent isn't overwhelming which is usually my complaint with many floral scented candles from other brands. I was surprised how much I enjoyed this one, it wouldn't have been one I would have chosen for myself. So don't limit your candle selection, you may find a new favorite.
I highly recommend the ScentWorx brand. Harry Slatkin's scent creations are the best. They are the only candles I have bought in the last two years. Be sure to trim the wicks prior to each use except the first burn. Be sure to wait until the wax has completely melted on top before extinguishing to prevent tunneling. It should take around 45-60 minutes. I usually burn my candles for 2-4 hours at a time. If you are forgetful, put a timer on your phone. If you burn them too long the wicks may begin to smoke. Extinguish the flames by gently laying the glass lid on top. Never leave a candle unsupervised and keep them out of reach of children and pets. These candles make wonderful gifts and are perfect for those $20 and under gift exchanges. They are also great to use your Kohl's cash on, that's what I use mine on.
I recommend you order your fall candles from Kohl's now before they sell out. The ScentWorx brand is exclusively sold at Kohls. They have already started selling some of the holiday candles, so you'll want to pick some of those up also. Check out my review of their winter candles from last year. Their fall and winter candles are the most popular so when you find your favorite scents stock up. I recommend ordering online and doing curbside pickup at your closest Kohl's store. I have done it many times since the pandemic, it works really well. You'll receive an email when your order is ready, then drive to the store within a week and use the app to let them know you are waiting in the parking lot. They come out to your car quickly, I've been impressed. There are signs and specific parking spaces for curbside pickup. They offer free shipping to your nearby store or pickup within hours if it's in stock. Your other options are to shop in the store or have them shipped to your home. Which scents are your favorite?
