We visited Taste Vietnamese Cuisine Restaurant on a Sunday around 3 pm. They had only a couple of customers, so this is the perfect time to visit if you don't like crowds. They are open weekdays from 11 am until 3 pm except for Tuesday when they are closed. They reopen at 5 pm and close at 9 pm. Saturday and Sunday they are open from 11 am until 9 pm. Their health score is currently 96.5 which is very good. They have two rows of tables and two rows of booths. We were immediately greeted when we arrived and the waitress pointed to one of the booths so we sat there. She promptly took our drink orders and we looked over the menu. Check out the interior decor below.

I immediately ordered the Crispy Shrimp Rolls appetizer shown below. They are described as "crispy rolls filled shrimp, sweet onion, and served with lettuce and sweet chili sauce". These were very tasty and they were brought to the table a couple minutes after I ordered them. I had to wait a little bit to eat them since they were so hot. The chili sauce is light not syrupy. I recommend them, yum!

The waitress returned to take our order. I ordered the Steak Pho as shown below. The Pho is described as "a deep and complex beef soup that is created by simmering spices, bone, and beef over two days. Served in a deep bowl with rice noodles and selected beef cuts. Most people use hoisin sauce and Sriracha chili sauce to flavor it to their own liking". A large is only a dollar more! One taste and I was immediately in love with the flavor of the broth. Yum! It is scrumptious, this is a must-try entree! I've been craving it ever since. The meat is tasty, I might go for rare next time since the broth is so hot that it will cook it a bit. I had to sip on the broth carefully since it was so hot, but it cooled down quickly. The toppings were very fresh and tasty. I couldn't eat all of the noodles, but I ate the rest of the ingredients. Hubby had a sample and he agreed it was yummy.

Pho Toppings

Check out the Pho toppings above. Hubby ordered the Build Your Own Plate as shown below. When you order the Build Your Own Plate first you pick base rice, vermicelli or salad and then you pick the meat. You can also add more for an extra charge. Hubby chose beef, salad, and a fried egg. He enjoyed the meat and the egg, but he would have liked a larger portion. He said he will order the Pho next time since the broth was so delicious. It will be a cheat meal for him since he's on a low carb diet.

It was an enjoyable experience and I recommend you visit this restaurant soon. Check out their menu before you go. They also offer take out so if you live or work nearby, go for it! What's your favorite Pho restaurant in the Triangle?

Have a PEACEful Day!
