This is a review of a restaurant located in Charlotte, North Carolina called Le Kebab Grill. There is parallel parking in the front and in the rear there is a parking deck with lots of parking spots. Their sanitation score when we visited was 92, which is good. We visited on a Wednesday around 2 pm. They had more customers than most restaurants have for that time of day, but there were plenty of seats. There is indoor and outdoor seating. We were greeted immediately and taken to our table. All of the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming.
Our waitress came over right away to assist us with our order. She was so kind, friendly, attentive and super welcoming during our stay. We started with an appetizer of Baba Ghanouj & Pita Bread and we loved the addition of the smoked paprika. It was brought to the table very promptly. It was very good, it had a good consistency and enough spices to make it very enjoyable. The pita bread was served warm and although at first glance it looked like more than we needed, it was in fact the perfect portion. Eleven minutes later our pita wraps were brought out. While we had originally ordered the Lamb Gyros, the waitress explained that the Lamb Shawarma had the sliced lamb. Since that was what we wanted, but didn't realize the gyro didn't have sliced lamb, we went with the Lamb Shawarma instead. I prefer tzatziki sauce instead of the tahani sauce. So next time I think I will ask for a side of tzatziki sauce. I would have also like more onion and tomatoes. The lamb was delicious and perfectly spiced. It was a nice sized portion. We decided to have some Baklava for dessert since they are so small they wouldn't make us feel like we over ate. Our waitress promptly brought them out right after we ordered them. They were very good and a nice ending to our meal.
Our experience at Le Kebab Grill was an excellent one. We really loved the taste and quality of the food, the great prices, nice decor and the excellent service. All of the customers seemed very happy with their meals. It was a wonderful lunch and we plan to return next time we are in the area. If we didn't live so far away, this would be a restaurant we would visit weekly. I highly recommend you give this restaurant a try if you live in the area. It is only a few miles away from IKEA! So if you are visiting Charlotte from out of town with plans to shop at IKEA as we were, then be sure to make time to stop by for a delicious lunch or dinner.
