Bath & Body Works Candle Haul - January 2014

London Calling, Cinnamon Sugared Doughnut & Bergamot Woods

I made a rare trip to the local Bath & Body Works store to smell all the new spring scents.  I prefer the convenience of ordering online, but when the new Spring & Summer scents come out I make a trip to check them out.  I prefer their Fall & Winter candles which I order without smelling first because I usually love them all. Bargain Alert - currently they are having a two for $25 sale on their $22.50 candles.  They recently increased the price of their candles yet again so the sale price has gone up also.  If you use the coupon "COUPON25" which gives you 25% off and free shipping over $50, they come out to only $9.37 each.  Plus, don't forget to use Mr. Rebates for an additional 3% back! It's last call for some of the fall & winter scents that you may be able to find at your local store! They currently have Leaves, Fresh Balsam, Bergamot Woods & Mahogany Teakwood online. I recommend all those scents, those are some of my favorites!  Bergamot Woods isn't as strong as Mahogany Teakwood which makes it perfect for a smaller room.  In the Spring line, I absolutely love London Calling and I just ordered some more since they are on sale again. I'm so happy they brought it back! If you love tea, you will love this candle! It's smells so delicious and has a calming effect. Reminds me of the smell of a lovely gift store in an historic house or a tea shop. It burns perfectly, as you can see above. The candle on the top right is lit.  I also love the doughnut one, it smells delicious.  If you want that one, be sure to order quickly! It has already sold out once. Customers are buying multiples and stocking up. It's a scent they brought back and people have been missing it, so some customers are going crazy and even buying as many as eighteen at a time! I'm going to try the American Boardwalk one even though I wasn't sure about it smelling it unlit.  The Paris one I tried last year and it was disappointing.  The Italian line was also disappointing, they aren't very strong scents.  Red Velvet was offered in the Winter and it's delicious. The beach line is mostly clean scents which I'm not into. I prefer food scents and some perfumed ones like Mahogany Teakwood. It smells like an expensive men's cologne and it's one of my top favorites. You may want to check out an outlet near you. Sometimes they have test scents for sale which you won't find in their regular stores.  Those are fun to try.  What's you favorite candle scent from Bath & Body Works?
