Blue Apron has partnered with Weight Watchers and is offering six recipes per week to chose from. The recipe cards have a barcode which you can scan with your phone to track SmartPoints on the WW app. This week the SmartPoints ranged from 8 to 11 and calories range from 400 to 570. I noticed that Blue Apron has started charging tax, so the price has gone up from $59.94 to $61.14 per week. We gave two recipes 4 out of 5 stars and one recipe 3 stars. Note that the ingredient photo for the chicken recipe is incorrect. Unfortunately, Blue Apron doesn't place all the ingredients for each recipe in a separate bag so it can be tricky when deciding which ingredients go with which recipe especially when ingredients repeat.

Seared Barramundi & Caper Relish with Roasted Potatoes & Marinated Kale

Anytime one of the meal kit services offers barramundi I tend to order it since it's so tasty and it was very awesome yet again. We gave this recipe four stars. We skipped the radishes and Hubby skipped the potatoes since he's on a low carb diet. The kale and potatoes were tasty and I was surprised that I enjoyed the Italian Seasoning on them. Note to self don't use salt when the dish uses capers since it's overly salty. We didn't care for the lemon flavor. This was an extra large portion with only 400 calories and it has 6 SmartPoints. It takes about 35 minutes to prepare.

Seared Chicken & Creamy Farro with Tomato-Caper Pan Sauce

We gave this recipe three stars. The chicken breasts were just ok and the seasoning was bland. The farro was tasty and filling and it was a large portion. The Grana Padano Cheese was yummy along with the crème fraîche. This one has only 460 calories and 11 SmartPoints. It takes about 35 minutes to prepare.

Dukkah-Spiced Pork Chops with Roasted Cauliflower, Radishes & Tomatoes

I gave this recipe 3 stars and Hubby gave it four. It immediately gave me heartburn, I think it was caused by the roasted red peppers and perhaps too much crushed red pepper flakes. Hubby loves to add more, it's one of his favorite spices. The Dukkah Seasoning smelled really good when it was cooking but I didn't care for its flavor. This was another very large portion with 570 calories and 8 SmartPoints. It takes up to 40 minutes to prepare.

It was a pretty good week of recipes and it was our 29th shipment from Blue Apron. Since they only have six recipes to chose from each week, we only occasionally order from them. I waited for weeks for the Weight Watcher recipes to show up and then I figured out I had to change my settings to see them. They really should have told customers how to make the change and that it was necessary. I think they should fix this so that it would be easier to pick from the regular recipes or the WW ones. One shouldn't have to switch back and forth to see all of the recipes. If you have tried the new WW recipes, what do you think?
