This is a review of our 64th delivery from a weekly food subscription box called Home Chef. This week we gave two recipes five out of five stars and one recipe four stars. Calories range from 480 to 649 and carbohydrates range from 22g to 41g. Preparation time stated on the recipe cards range from 30 to 55 minutes. Actual preparation time was 51 to 59 minutes.

When I saw this recipe available for ordering, I ordered without hesitation. Boy does it look yummy! Who doesn't love chicken wrapped in puff pastry with garlic, feta cheese, and spinach, yum! We gave this dish five out of five stars. It was so delicious and it was a large portion with only 557 calories and 27 carbs. I don't know the fiber count, so I can't calculate the net carbs. The squash and zucchini were cooked with olive oil and shallot and topped with dill, salt, and pepper, delicious! The recipe card states 45-55 minutes for preparation and it took hubby 59 minutes. If they offer this one again, I'll be sure to order it.

We have ordered this recipe before and since we gave it five stars I didn't hesitate to order it again. Sometimes it's a bit risky ordering steak from a meal kit company, but this one was delicious. Don't hesitate to order their sirloin steaks. Whenever they offer herb butter I know we'll love it, it's always so tasty! Simply soften some butter, add garlic, parsley, salt and pepper and bam it's a scrumptious topping for steak. The fries were awesome with the addition of some truffle oil, olive oil, salt, and pepper, yum! This meal has only 649 calories and 41g carbs and it was a generous portion. Hubby skipped the fries to lower the carbs. It took him 51 minutes to prepare. 

Breaded Italian Chicken with Cauliflower Mash

We gave this recipe four out of five stars. I would give it five stars if they skipped the bread crumbs and added mozzarella instead. We've had it that way in a previous recipe and it was awesome. The cauliflower side dish was fabulous, we give it five stars! Simply coarsely chop fresh cauliflower, cook it and add sour cream, parmesan, and salt. Yummy! We plan to repeat the side dish on our own soon, it was that good and it's low in carbs. This dish has only 480 calories and 22g carbs and it was a healthy portion. It took 57 minutes to prepare while the recipe card states 30-40 minutes.
