I am so excited to see this movie! This will be so much fun to watch! Check out the trailer above! It immediately places the song Barbie Girl by Aqua in my head:
"I'm a Barbie girl, in the Barbie world

Look at clip 1:05! I would love to enter the Barbie world. Maybe if the movie does well a theme park will create a real Barbie World. Notice that Margot is wearing the swimsuit that the very 1st 1959 Barbie doll wore. Also, the hair, shoes, sunglasses, and earrings are the same as shown in the photo below.

The beautiful Barbie above is for sale in my Etsy shop! It's the 1994 35th Anniversary Fashion Model Vintage Reproduction Barbie by Mattel. It's a vintage reproduction of the 1st Barbie made in 1959. The originals from 1959 are very expensive, so it's wonderful that Mattel came out with a reproduction.

Now you may ask who will be playing Ken?! Well, it will be Ryan Gosling. Other popular actors that will be included are Will Farrell, Kate McKinnon, Rhea Pearlman, Helen Mirin, and America Ferrera. It's classified as a comedy, adventure, and fantasy movie. The movie is described as "To live in Barbie Land is to be a perfect being in a perfect place. Unless you have a full-on existential crisis. Or you're a Ken." 
So on July 21st of this year, head to your local movie theatre, grab some popcorn and prepare for a fun movie! Looks like many people will be joining you since already over 8 million people have watched the trailer. Will you be going to see it in the movie theatre, waiting for it stream on demand or skip it?
