Costco Kirkland's Chicken Street Tacos Review

Food is really expensive these days, so we enjoy picking up some premade meals at Costco that are priced better. For only $13.72 the above would make a large dinner-sized meal for two people (3-5 tacos each) or four lunch-sized servings (2 tacos each). It offers 12 tortillas, but we find for the amount of chicken it makes about 8 tacos total. I tend to prefer the lunch-sized serving which is two tacos. We purchase the smallest cheapest premade dinner packages. They sell some with more weight if you need to feed more people. Throw some scrambled eggs and shredded cheese in the leftover tortillas for a quick breakfast. The salsa is tasty but it upsets my stomach and it's very salty, so I skip it. I recommend tasting it prior to adding it to your taco. The Cilantro Lime Crema is scrumptious and without it, the tacos aren't anywhere near as tasty. I recommend squeezing the lime over the prepared taco, it adds some awesome flavor also. You can warm the chicken prior to assembling the tacos or skip that step and eat them chilled. Either way, they taste just as good to me. Sprinkle a tortilla with cheese and cabbage, add a handful of chicken and drizzle with crema and salsa and finally squeeze some lime on top. They are delicious! I highly recommend you give them a try next time you shop at Costco.

The dates on Costco's premade food aren't great, so you'll want to plan to eat them within a couple of days. The Chicken Street Tacos is one of their premade meals that we don't leave without if it's in stock. You never know which premade meals they will have in stock which can be disappointing. They also sell out, so you may want to shop earlier in the day. If they don't have it, check back odds are they will have it the next time you visit. I have also reviewed their Italian Sausage & Pasta in Garlic Wine Sauce, so be sure to check that out. What's your favorite premade meal at Costco?

Have a PEACEful Day!
