This is a review of our 28th delivery from a weekly subscription box called Sunbasket. It's been a while since I purchased one from them, so there have been several changes. They now offer premade food called Fresh & Ready. All you have to do is heat it up and place it on two plates. This is especially helpful on those nights you are too tired to cook. It prevents you from purchasing an unhealthy fast food meal. We prefer freshly made meals rather than premade and reheated meals. Though they are tastier than frozen premade meals. They have another option which is called Meal Kit Speedy which is a meal you prepare, but it takes less time around 20 minutes. Many of their recipes offer the option of changing the protein which I really like.

They also offer snacks, smoothies, protein without recipes, and more. I ordered two oatmeals, one Roasted Almond & Himalayan Pink Salt and one Blueberry & Vermont Maple. Hubby really enjoyed them. He recommends adding almond milk rather than water and a bit of Monk Fruit Sweetener. While almond milk adds more calories it's much tastier that way. I ordered two more flavors for this week's box but sadly I received an email saying they sold out. I wish they would have told me before it shipped so that I could have chosen something else. Hubby's favorite oatmeal is from Revive Organics. Also, I ordered a snack bar called Blueberry & Cashew Lemon Seedbar. Hubby said it was tasty and he would buy it again.

Our favorite meal this week was the Hawaiian Poke Bowls which was a meal kit. We gave it five out of five stars. It only has 580 calories. It was really delicious, it was a healthy and filling portion. We found the Beef Bolognese tasty, but a smaller portion than we usually eat when it comes to Spaghetti. This portion has 570 calories. It was tasty, but not worth repeating. We are pretty fussy when it comes to Spaghetti. The Chicken Tikka Masala was a generous portion, but we weren't crazy for the flavor. This is the 2nd time we have tried a Chicken Tikka Masala recipe from a meal kit service and we haven't liked it.  I'm not going to try another, it must be a flavor we don't care for and not an issue with the recipe. This one has 600 calories. Another Sunbasket box arrived today, so stay tuned for my 29th Sunbasket review.
