We visited Thai Spices & Sushi Restaurant around 1:30 pm on a rainy Friday. They are located in the Preston Corners Shopping Center near Lowes Food in Cary, North Carolina. Their hours are from 11 am to 2:30 pm & 5 pm to 9 pm on weekdays. They are open from noon to 9 pm Saturday and Sunday. Currently, their health score is 95 which is good. Check out the decor below.

Since there were no other customers, we were immediately greeted and escorted to a booth. Hubby ordered the Pad Thai Beef and I ordered the All-Time Favorites which is a Bento Box. I love Bento Boxes because you get a sample of many things so it's never boring. The entrees come with your choice of salad or Miso Soup. I ordered the salad and Hubby had the soup. Check them out below.

Salad

Miso Soup

The salad with ginger dressing was tasty. Hubby's Miso Soup was tasty but it didn't have a lot in it as you can see in the photo. Hubby enjoyed the Pad Thai, but he prefers Sushi Thai's version which is his favorite. I enjoyed sampling all the goodies in my Bento Box. If you can't decide what to order a Bento Box is always a good choice. The Chicken Teriyaki and Chicken Red Curry were delicious. I added the rice to the curry. I'm not a fan of edamame so I skipped it. The Spring Roll was tasty. Our waiter was friendly and attentive and we recognized him since he worked at one of our favorite restaurants for years. He was our favorite waiter there. He always remembered my favorite dish and beverage which I appreciate.

Pad Thai Beef Lunch - $8.95

All Time Favorites - $12.95

On our second visit, we ordered the Shrimp in a Basket Appetizer and it was very tasty. I also ordered the Mary Roll which isn't as good as Sushi Thai's version. The tuna on top wasn't mixed with spicy mayo, so that was disappointing. Hubby had the Sashimi Appetizer which had 9 pieces. They were very thin, small pieces so Hubby was disappointed.

Shrimp in a Basket - $7.95

Sashimi Appetizer - $10.95

Mary Roll - $11.95

I recommend visiting for lunch on a weekday since the prices are more affordable than the weekend. Check out my other restaurant reviews before you go. What's your favorite Asian restaurant in the Triangle?

Have a PEACEful Day!
