This is a review of our 66th delivery from a weekly food subscription box called Home Chef. This week we gave one recipe five out of five stars and two recipes four stars. Calories range from only 507 to 575 and carbs range from 16 to 32 grams. Preparation time listed on the recipe cards range from 15 to 50 minutes. Actual preparation time was 30 to 60 minutes.

Blue Cheese-Crusted Chicken with Buffalo Sauce and Ranch Green Beans

Hubby gave this recipe four out of five stars and I gave it three stars. I'm not a fan of blue cheese nor Frank's Red Hot Sauce, but Hubby is. I bought it for Hubby since it's really low in carbs and he loves the ingredients. The ranch seasoning on the green beans was yummy. This recipe has only 561 calories, 16 grams of carbohydrates and it only took 30 minutes to prepare. It's one of their new "Express" recipes that states it will only take 15 minutes to prepare. It was a very filling entree.

Chili-Lime Salmon with Roasted Chayote Squash and Mojo de Ajo

We both gave this recipe five out of five stars. Chayote squash is so yummy, you should give it a try. It was especially tasty mixed with red onion, cotija cheese, and olive oil. The Mojo de Ajo was scrumptious, it's made with lime juice, olive oil, lime zest, garlic, salt, and pepper. So simple yet so fabulous! This recipe only has 575 calories and 25 grams of carbs. It took one hour to prepare while the recipe card states 40 to 50 minutes. It was a healthy, filling portion.

Fig-Glazed Pork Tenderloin with Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Carrots

We both gave this recipe four out of five stars. Their pork tenderloin recipes are usually really good, so I tend to order them when they are available. The pork was very tasty with the addition of the fig glaze made with red wine and fig preserves. The combination of carrots, goat cheese, and brussels sprouts was enjoyable. The goat cheese was so incredibly yummy. I'll have to check and see if I can find the Celebrity brand locally so I can purchase some more yumminess! This recipe has only 507 calories and 32 grams of carbs. It took 51 minutes to prepare while the recipe card states 35 to 45 minutes. It was a very filling meal.

It was another wonderful week of recipes from Home Chef! I have been ordering from them the most lately since they have been offering a lot of low carb meals and Hubby has been on a low carb diet.
