  2. Laura Mercier - Translucent Loose Setting Powdermade in the USA, .12 oz., $4.56 retail value
  3. Grande Cosmetics - Hydraplump Liquid Lipstick in Smoked Sherrymade in the USA, .08 oz., $23.80 retail value
  4. Tory Burch - Just Like Heaven, made in the USA, .05 fl. oz., $3.17 retail value
  5. Philosophy - Purity Made Simple Cleansermade in the USA, 1 fl. oz., $3.00 retail value
  6. Moroccanoil - Protect & Prevent Spray, made in Israel, .67 fl. oz., $3.72 retail value
I'm not a fan of the Tarte brand, but I'll give this new moisturizer a try. It will take some time to see it's long-term results. It a cool gel type consistency which sinks into the skin quickly. It's a light moisturizer so it's not heavy enough for my dry skin. It would be great for oily skin. I've tried Laura Mercier's Setting Powder previously and I wasn't a fan. I find it makes wrinkles and pores more visible. You're supposed to apply it after foundation and before blush and bronzer which I haven't heard before. I'll have to try that the next time I use a setting powder. I thought a primer would be good enough prior to blush. I've received a sample of Grande Cosmetic's lip treatment before, but it didn't have any color, it was clear and I had wished they had sent one with color so I'm anxious to give this one a try. The last one had an uncomfortable burning sensation from the plumping ingredients. Ok, I just applied it and my lips are stinging a bit with a pulsing sensation. I really like the dark wine color which is darker on the lips than it looks in the tube. It's described as a red mauve. It has a matte finish with a bit a dry a feeling. It has a wonderful applicator tip just like Smashbox's. You can use the tip to line the lips and then the flat part to apply to the rest of the lips. I find this tip allows me to line a bit outside my lips to make them look a bit wider. Hopefully, the pulsing feeling will go away. I prefer Buxom's lip glosses sensation. It does appear to have made my lips look a bit wider. The pulsing has gone away followed by a slight numb feeling, so odd! I'll be wearing this now and through the winter. It's too dark for summer and spring. It's supposed to make your lips looks fuller when used two times a day for 30 days. They sent us almost the full size, full size being .004 larger yet it's a tiny container that looks like a sample so that $25.00 price tag looks pretty high to me. Tory Burch's Just Like Heaven perfume smells pretty good. It's described as a fresh citrus floral with key notes of hyacinth, heliotrope and tonka bean absolute. Other notes are rhubarb, mandarin, and ylang-ylang. It's quite strong and long-lasting, so use it sparingly. I think I'm smelling the hyacinth the most with a bit of mandarin. At $108.00 for 1.7 oz. I don't like it enough to purchase the full size. I've tried Philosophy's facial cleanser many times and I like it. It's gentle to the skin, easy and quick. It doesn't strip the skin of its oil, so its good for normal and dry skin. It has a reasonable price tag coming in at $11 for 3 ounces. I've used Moroccanoil's products before and they work really well on my long, straight fine hair. I had a hairdresser tell me that they weren't good for your hair, but I haven't found that to be true. Her motive may have been to sell me the brands she sells. Their treatment oil is wonderful, it helps with tangles and leaves a nice shine without an oily look. A little goes a long way, one full sized bottle lasted me about two years! The Protect & Prevent Spray is a leave-in conditioner that prevents color fading and brassiness and repairs. I find if you use a high-quality hair coloring product and a purple shampoo 2-3 times a week brassiness isn't an issue. Now color fading that is an issue, the toner doesn't last long, but I find WEN shampoo helps with that. You really don't want to use a shampoo that strips color, so invest in a good one. I look forward to seeing what results I have from the spray.

My favorite item in this box is the lipstick, but I'm also happy to receive the Moraccanoil Protect & Prevent Spray and Purity. My least favorite product is Laura Mercier's Setting Powder. I'm happy with the box since there is only one item I won't be using.
