Well there you have it, not very exciting TSV's for August in my opinion. Which ones are you excited about? If I get any information about other TSVs not listed above, I will post them as soon as I do. Notice that I have listed more than one TSV for some days. In some cases they are offering more than one item, but similar like a gold bracelet and a necklace on the 18th. On the 6th they are offering a matching ring and cuff from Or Paz. Temptations is offering two different designs on the 19th. Also, Denim & Co is offering jeans in two blue shades and a colored version that comes in four colors. I recommend the Vitamix though recently I found their customer service to be extremely poor. The customer service representative kept talking after our conversation ended thinking I hung up and said "what the hell is wrong with these people today". Mind you this was only an hour after she had been on the job and she was already stressed out! Our drive socket broke after four years of use which is suppose to be covered by the warranty, so I called to get the replacement part. She refused to send me the part insisting that I had to return my Vitamix to their service department to have them replace it. I was persistent but not rude and she finally caved and said they would send the part, but I would have to sign a warranty waiver if I replaced it myself. We bought the $12 drive socket from Amazon and it took Hubby only about two minutes to replace it. That way we were able to make smoothies again without much interruption and didn't have to worry about our Vitamix being damaged in shipping. We never received the shipping label nor the warranty waiver via email that she was suppose to send. I contacted their management at the call center and all they did was apologize. It's my understanding that it's common for the drive socket to break and need replacing. I also read recently that they recalled one of their recent models due to the teflon coating coming off during use and contaminating the customer's food. So if you have a Vitamix, you'll want to call Vitamix and see if yours has been recalled or google it. Home Chef offers wonderful smoothie recipes and ships the ingredients to your door.
