On Display, On Display, On Display!
You don't have to wear your jewelry, you can display it! For this creation, I purchased the RJ Graziano Large Floral Charm Necklace from Little Black Bag for only $18.30, it has a $75 retail value. The shadow box I just found the other day at T. J. Maxx for under $13 with retail value of $25 (though I think that price is way underestimated). So the total cost for this decoration is only $31.30, with a retail value of $100. The necklace is heavy and difficult to find an outfit plain enough to wear it with during the summer. The new outfits I purchased for summer are mostly prints. So I decided instead of wearing it, I would put it on display. It still can be taken out of the shadow box and worn. It's held in place with 9 pins that came with the box. I placed the pins through the fabric into the styrofoam at an angle. The shadow box door has a magnetic closure to ensure it wont swing open. So there you have it: a quick, easy and inexpensive way to display your jewelry when you're not wearing it!
