Julep's Maureen Manicure

Maureen - It Girl

This is a manicure featuring the nail polish called Maureen from Julep. It's a metallic seafoam iridescent polish that changes color in different light. In the bright afternoon sun, it appears to be a turquoise color, at sunset, it appears bluer as shown above and indoors in low light it appears green. It reminds me of the colors and reflection of a mermaid's tail. The ultra-fine glitter reflects gold, blue and green which makes it difficult to get a photo that's not out of focus. It's a really pretty polish that I recommend. It's perfect for a summer vacation in the sun.

I treated myself to a manicure and brought this nail polish with me. He only used two coats. I would recommend three coats since at some angles I can see the white tips of my nails. You'll need to make sure you keep the brush at the proper angle or it will pull some of the polish off as you can see he did on the ring finger's nail at the top. I also brought Perfect Formula's Manicure Booster for the base coat and top coat. When I arrived home I added Seche Vite on top. Those products keep the nail polish chip-free the longest.

I have over ninety manicures featured on this blog. Check them all out on my Pinterest Manicure Board. When you see one you like, just click on the photo and it will take you to the matching blog post. Also, be sure to browse around my blog since I'm sure you'll find something else that interests you.
