Inquiring minds want to know what is tempting you this month? I really want another Dennis Basso blanket or two or three, they are so addictive. Unfortunately, I already have too much bareMinerals original foundation to justify buying anymore, so I sadly have to pass on the TSV. One container lasts so long! Maybe Sephora will have a bareMinerals set closer to Christmas that I fancy more. The Duraflame Lantern is interesting. Anyone want to leave a review below? Wouldn't it make anything that it sits on too hot? It looks too small to warm a room. I was tempted by the microwave popcorn popper. I watched the video and read the reviews and now I'm not quite sure since one time she made it there were so many unpopped kernels. The worst reviews said they either didn't pop or burnt. Does anyone have a review to share on this popper? The reviews on Amazon are better and it's currently $16.66 each. Other interesting upcoming TSVs are:

3rd - iRobot Roomba, updated above
4th - KitchenAid Anniversary, updated above
6th - Dyson Hair Dryer, updated above
10th - Bethlehem Lights Seasonal Lighting, updated above
18th - Martha Stewart Gourmet Food, updated above
20th - Peter Thomas Roth, updated above
22nd - Copper Chef, updated above
24th - NuFace Anti-aging Innovations moved to 10/30, 24th changed to Ring, updated above
25th - Atari Flashback 8 HD changed to Amazon Fire Stick, updated above
27th - Lug Travel & Handbags, updated above
28th - Shark moved to 29th, changed to Duraflame shown above
30th - Kristofer Buckle, changed to NuFace

what could they be doing with the Dyson hair dryer to make it a TSV price, can be be less than the selling price? throwing in something with it?

Unknown said...

I was wondering the same thing! I'd love to have one of these...hopefully it will be a little more affordable!

DonnaMariee said...

Absolutely getting the Dennis Basso throw (maybe 2), I love his throws! Maybe the cuddle dud cardi , not sure yet. I wouldn't mind trying the GILI crossbody but is it worth it? I love bare minerals but have too much of it.

Unknown said...

I want the Dennis basso throws a couple of them, but there are no pictures of the colors yet. Thanks for your reviews! They swayed me to get them :) I also want the Marc fisher boots so will be ordering them once the description comes up, I want to see the difference between the calf widths. Thanks for such a great blog!

Any thoughts on if there's going to be a kitchen aid mixer TSV this fall? I've been waiting to buy one but don't want to pull the trigger if one is coming up soon!

Unknown said...

Will there be any First Aid Beauty in November?

Ashley Quinn said...

I wish there would be another Aimee Kestenberg TSV! There hasn't been one since at least last year!

Unknown said...

Wow, that Bare Minerals set is pathetic. They really lost it when Leslie left. You used to get MULTIPLE shadows, blush , brushes, eyeliner, mascara. .The works..I was waiting to see it..Thanks. . I am going ahead with the Tarte set on Tuesday. It's brown again. But, more pink than peach in the video which I prefer.
Thanks for posting =)

Unknown said...

Me too.I am tired of seeing so much Dooney.Maybe, November, at least one can hope.=)

Nicole said...

I'm definitely going to order the Gili crossbody, I have been looking for one in a similar shape, and I have loved all their products I have gotten. Nothing else is really interesting to me yet, but they usually come up with a few good ones to tempt me! Thanks as always for sharing!

Anonymous said...

does any one know what the kitchenaid will be thank you

Wendy Webster said...

We won't know until closer to the air date.

Wendy Webster said...

You're welcome, Nicole! Let us know how you like the crossbody when it arrives.

Wendy Webster said...

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, not a good value. The price is higher than the normal BE TSVs and they usually offer a new product exclusive until next year. Yeah, that Tarte set looks like a better value. Hopefully the quality of the plastic containers will be better than past TSVs. You're welcome!

Wendy Webster said...

Sorry, Vanessa, info for most November TSVs won't be available until around October 15th or later.

Wendy Webster said...

Yep, every year usually closer to Thanksgiving. Stay tuned!

Wendy Webster said...

The pictures are up now on QVC, if you use the above link. Some of the patterns don't look as real looking faux fur as past TSVs, sadly. I still want to buy another one though, LOL. Yes, those boots are lovely. Calf widths are 14" & 16". You're welcome, Jeanette!

Wendy Webster said...

Some of the patterns don't look as real looking faux fur as past TSVs, sadly, but still tempting! So soft and wear well in the washing machine. A customer below said G.I.L.I. is of good quality. Take a look at the reviews on qvc.com. Yeah, I think if they were offering a different foundation, it would be more tempting since the jars last so long.

Wendy Webster said...

It will take several years before the price comes down, just as their vacuum cleaners took forever to come down in price.

Wendy Webster said...

I think last time it was still so pricey. It will probably takes years for the price to come down to affordable just as their vacuums did.

Wendy Webster said...

Yeah, they are pushing Dooney so much lately! They use to offer so many more brands.

For $400, I would expect the Dyson not to just dry my hair, but laundry, dishes, etc!

Lynn said...

Seems like the Q is already in Xmas mode ... I bet they being their extended return policy NLT the weekend of Sept 30/Oct 1.

You're right about the BE Holiday kit. I have sooo much foundation, mineral veil, brushes, bags, etc. And they never have my shade in kits anyway (fairly medium matte).

I already have a number of these things from prior years - Dennis Basso throw, CuddlDuds, Lay'n'Go, etc. Maybe I'll get the Duraflame lantern heater.

Anonymous said...

I agree with everyone on the patterns for the Dennis throws. Previous years were super cute! These are just ok - I'm ordering the Duraflame and will let you know how these turn out. I'm hoping I can set them on something without fear of the heat. I'll keep you posted. :)

Anonymous said...

Has anyone tried Marc Fisher shoes/boots? I wonder if there is any support in them. I would like to try the boots in November but if there is no support I won't bother.. Thanks for any help or input you can provide. This blog is the best!!

Wendy Webster said...

Sometimes items that say "advance order" change to "in process" sooner than the EDD listed. Yes, those throws are loved by all ages and pets love them too! So sweet, he'll love it, what a wonderful gift!

Wendy Webster said...

Thanks for the compliment! Maybe you can find that brand in a store in your area and try on some to see how they fit.

Wendy Webster said...

Yeah, bummer the prints aren't as realistic looking this year, but maybe some people prefer that. They are still so soft and hold up to years of weekly washings. Yes, please do, would love to hear how warm the Duraflame TSV is.

Wendy Webster said...

The extended return policy is already in effect. Yes, I'm loving all the Christmas stuff! Yes, so disappointed in the BE TSV. Keeping my eye on Sephora and Nordström for a nicer set. Sephora already has some of the holiday BE lip gloss sets for sale, love those. Let me know how warm the Durflame TSV is, if you snag that one.

Wendy Webster said...

Lug will have a TSV on the 27th, so stay tuned for that one! Yes, love Dennis' throws, I'm so addicted since they are so soft and stand up to weekly washings for years.

Unknown said...

Will there be a IT TSV.

Anonymous said...

Not really impressed with the TSVs, looking forward to Novembers. What happen to Jackie and is Albany working with Lisa Robertson now? I use to enjoy watching the Q but I feel like their products have gone down, and if you just looking around you can find a better deal. Enjoy your blog Thanks

M.C. said...

Dyson hair dryer is same price- what a bummer. They just thes in some living proof products :(

Anonymous said...

Looking forward to the Lug TSV

pennylane68 said...

Nothing too exciting for me...I love Bare Minerals, but will have to skip this TSV because I can't wear their original foundation as it makes my face itch horribly due to the bismuth. Lately I have been loving Lug so am looking forward to seeing what they will have. :-) Thanks for posting Wendy!

Unknown said...

Got my DB throw last week although it said advance order. Well my 3 yr old has claimed it as soon as it came out of the bag. I was hoping for a nice couch throw but it's turned into his blankie lol. Will be ordering another in a neutral color as the platinum didn't match my couches as well as I thought it would.its soft and gorgeous! It shed a bit at first but it's fine now. Looking forward to the lug tsv

Lynn said...

Albany left last Dec ... I read on QVC message board that she was in Italy w/Lisa Robertson.

Jacque left in the spring ... I *think* her mom isn't doing well.

Unknown said...

I am interested in the Oct.22 TSV. I want the whole set of Copper Chef and I know its coming down the pike. Is this it?? Could you find out?
Im really excited about this possibility.
thanks

P.P. said...

Love the Oct 16 Cuddl Duds TSV - not crazy about the lack of sizes/color availability - hope they get a new shipment in by then....

Anonymous said...

Anyone have a picture of the Skechers or Clarks boot?

Anonymous said...

Does anyone know how the Cuddl Duds sizing runs?
Thanks

Lynn said...

This CuddlDuds wrap comes in "jump" or "bridge" sizing. I have 2 of these from prior years and they run a bit large (ie: relaxed fit). I'm on the border bw 12/14 and the S/M fits me just fine. HTH.

Wendy Webster said...

Thanks for sharing your sizing review, Lynn! :)

Wendy Webster said...

Lynn replied to ya :)

Wendy Webster said...

They will by the air date.

Wendy Webster said...

Check back closer to the air date.

Wendy Webster said...

Yeah, it looks quite small. Most women can't handle a bag that small unless it's an evening bag which it's not. Yeah, they aren't providing very good pictures to make a good decision. Sorry you were disappointed. The prints aren't as good as previous years. Grey is a good choice for a male. But no matter what color, it will be so cuddly and soft.

Wendy Webster said...

Yeah, Q is crazy right now, it will say ship now, then after ordering advance order, then it will ship b4 the EDD, LOL. What a wonderful blankie it makes, so soft and comforting. I sleep with one every night and I have several on the couch & chairs and my dogs share them too, so I have many.

Wendy Webster said...

Sorry to hear it makes u itch. I loved it b4 when I was young, but after 40 I found it made my wrinkles stand out. I'm currently loving Josie Maran's latest foundation that came in the last TSV. You're most welcome, Penny!

Wendy Webster said...

Christine, not on the schedule through October. Maybe in November, stay tuned for my update around the 15th of October.

Wendy Webster said...

Sadly, Jackie has several ill family members. Remember she took time off for about 3 months for undisclosed health issues, then several months later she left. There is a hint of the cause on her blog. Google her name to find her blog and you can find her on Facebook. Albany hasn't been updating fans, you can find her on Facebook, but I don't know if she accepts friend request from fans. She did some work in Australia and moved to Texas is my understanding. I'm getting the impression by the age group Q is now hiring for hosts that they want younger hosts to bring in the younger customers. Yet from what I've seen the majority of their customers are not what is considered young. Typical mistake by companies. Yes, please search prices online prior to purchasing from Q, lately their prices are higher. You're welcome :)

Wendy Webster said...

Yeah, to be expected from Dyson, they took SO many years to come down on their vacuum price. Must have enough people spending the big bucks to take so long to come down on the price. I recommend the T3 hairdryer!

Unknown said...

Wendy, Do you ever post the QVC2 Big deals for the month?

rozio9 said...

Hey wendy! Do you know if there will be a Black Friday or TSV computer in November? Im on the fence whether or not to get the Oct TSV cuz it only has 4gb RAM, but I dont want to spend a ton of money either...... thanks!!!!

Nicole said...

I ordered Marc Fisher boots last year and I love them! They are super comfortable, the ones I ordered were over the knee and they are not tight or uncomfortable to take off. I usually wear a 6 or a 6.5 in shoes, and in boots I always get a 6.5, and they were perfect. I hope that helps!

Wendy Webster said...

Glad to hear that! Yeah, it's difficult to order just one! Addictive throws they are, LOL.

Wendy Webster said...

November TSV info will not be coming out until the 15th at the earliest, so I won't know until then. HSN also has computer TSVs, you might want to get their TSV emails or keep an eye on their website. They also have coupons unlike Q. Get on their email list or check out retailmenot.com and Mr. Rebates. Also, check Costco and Best Buy. Their are Black Friday reveal websites you could check out. Q doesn't impress me for Black Friday, but stores like Walmart and Best Buy, etc may have a deal but they usually have limited quantities. I had a bad experience with the Q buying a computer, was suppose to be "guaranteed" to be delivered by Christmas and it arrived much later. Everyone was very upset and yet there was no compensation. The "guarantee" statement was worthless. Costco also has a free extended warranty.

Wendy Webster said...

No, since I don't get advance info. Would you like a list even though the info isn't preorder? I personally haven't been impressed by the values. Seems like it's just old inventory in limited quantities they are trying to get rid of and you have to shop quick or it sells out.

Wendy Webster said...

Skechers pic is now up.

Wendy Webster said...

Thanks for the review, Nicole!

Anonymous said...

Great Thanks! Hoping the Clarks is up before they launch the TSV. If you happen to get it before then please post. I am having trouble getting emails from QVC on pre-orders.

Unknown said...

I'm wondering the same thing! Wish QVC carried the almond color though

Unknown said...

I bought Marc fisher heels from Macy's years ago. They were not comfortable! But we're so cute. There was a Franco sarto tall boot on Friday night that was suede and looked really nice for the same price.

Unknown said...

I agree with these hosts. If they want younger customers they need to bring in brands that appeal to younger demographics not just younger hosts who are not interesting to watch. I do miss Jacque!

Joe said...

Any updates on the WEN Nov TSV. Will it be the 5 CC that are usually the Dec TSV?

Anonymous said...

Hoping Harry London has a TSV this month. The TSV last year was super great for gift-giving. I gave each individual box as a teacher gift and put them in food baskets that I made for family members. My kids and my husband devoured all that was left over and it was a good bit. Well worth the price! Keeping my fingers crossed!

Anonymous said...

on the it cosmetics website it says they will be on qvc three times on nov 11 starting at midnight. I bet they will have a TSV

Any info on qvc Oct 27th tsv Lug?

Wendy Webster said...

I posted what's included, but it's not available to order yet. Check my November TSV list.

Wendy Webster said...

November TSV is up, look at my November TSV list. It's a set of 3. Maybe they'll have the gift set in Dec.

Wendy Webster said...

No info yet, probably will know closer to air date. Maybe around the 20th.

Thanks so much Wendy!

Any idea if there's a special event on the 24th? Easy does it or free shipping? David just hinted at something on the air.

F12881 for the lug tsv:)

Nicole said...

I ended up getting the DB throw (thank you for the high praise on that, it is sooo amazing and soft!) and the Gili Camo crossbody. I know someone else said that the crossbody was too small for them, but I found the size to be just right for my purposes. I first used it on a weekend trip away, and it ended up pouring rain and it was so resilient in the rain and held all my essentials for the day, including my compact umbrella and my husbands packable rain jacket! I am debating ordering another color, I liked it so much. It really was like a clown car as Jill said, it held so much stuff. One tip, if you do order it, try it out before sending it back, most likely it will fit more than you anticipate. Thanks again for the recommendation on the DB throw, I can't wait to have it out for the holidays!

Wendy Webster said...

Thank for sharing, Jeanette!

Wendy Webster said...

Sometimes they have easy pay offers or free s/h offers for four hours during the day. Make your wish list on qvc.com and get on their email list for notices of these special offers.

Wendy Webster said...

You're welcome, Nicole! Glad you like it, no need to wait for the holidays, enjoy the throw now! It machine washes well. They can take weekly washings for years and still be in great shape.

Nicole said...

Great tip, thanks so much! Could I bother you to ask how you wash it? Do you put it in the dryer too or lay it flat to dry? I would love to make sure I do it correctly so it lasts!

Wendy Webster said...

Nicole, I place them in my HE washer on delicate or normal with cold water. I use a Shout Color Catcher sheet since I put light colored and dark colored DB throws in at the same time. I use Mrs. Meyer's Lavender Laundry Detergent and sometimes the liquid fabric softener. Then I put them in the dryer on either delicate or permanent press with a dryer sheet. I have a dryer that senses when it's dry so they are not in there too long. It's important to remove them as soon as they are dry.

Wendy Webster said...

Info is now up.
