When I heard about this advent calendar from bareMinerals I became very excited until I saw the price of $79. I thought it was overpriced though they claim it's a $205 retail value. So when I heard it went on sale for $59 and I had a coupon for $10 off plus 7% cash back from Mr. Rebates, I immediately purchased it. I ordered it even though it was November 26th and it wouldn't arrive by December 1st in order to start opening it on time. It took them seven days before they even shipped it! So it arrived twelve days later on December 6th. I had heard they were slow to ship, so I was expecting a long wait. I'm really glad I didn't buy it at the original price because the Moxie lip glosses are so tiny! I've bought mini sets of Moxie and Buxom lip glosses from Sephora many times over the years and they were never this small. The sample sized Moxies from Sephora are .07 fl. oz. and these are only .02 fl. oz., making them only 29% of the size of those from Sephora! The full sized version is .15 fl. oz., so that makes these samples only 13% of the original size whereas the typical sample size is 47% of the original size! These samples are worth only $2.39 each. They are even more narrow than the width of a pencil and certainly not as tall as they appear on the bareMinerals' website. With 24 samples that makes each one cost $2.45 each at the sale price of $59. At the $49 price (using coupon) each sample costs only $2.04. Each sample is $3.29 each at the original price of $79. I received a free gift which is shown above, it's the brow brush which is a full sized product and worth $16. I also received free shipping and handling. So at only $2.04 per sample, I am happy. I certainly would not have been happy with the original price. Included in this calendar are the following product samples:

The two mineral veils are full sized and the retail value of the key chain is unknown. The total retail value comes out to $167.25 yet they claim it's worth $205. I don't know how much the keychain is worth, but it's certainly doesn't make up the $37.75 difference in value!
I love the Moxie lip gloss and if you haven't tried it before, I highly recommend you do. While you will need to reapply after eating and drinking, it feels really good on the lips. It takes a lot of time to get the product out of the small tube since very little comes out of the tube on the applicator. I had not tried the Pop of Passion Lip Oil Balm before, it's not opaque, but it is moisturizing. I've enjoyed the mineral veils, blush and eye color for a least ten years now and I recommend them. The mineral veil isn't great for those over forty though, it does tend to make your pores and wrinkles stand out more. I've always enjoyed their mascaras, but I haven't tried this new one yet.
