This is a review of our 5th delivery from a food subscription box called Sun Basket. This week we gave one recipe five out of five stars and two recipes four stars. Calories ranged from 290 to 770 and preparation time ranged from ten to thirty-five minutes. Servings cost $11.49 each except for breakfast which you receive two recipes for the price of one dinner. They are currently running a special offer of a $15 Amazon gift card, if you order five out of the eight Globetrotter recipes in eight weeks. My favorite recipe this week was the Yucatan Style Salmon and Hubby's favorite was the Jungle Curry. If you are only here to enter the giveaway, scroll to the bottom.

Yucatan Style Salmon with Capers & Tomatoes

This was the Globetrotter recipe for the week. I gave it four out of five stars and Hubby gave it three stars. I love panko, so I was really looking forward to this one and all of the Globetrotter recipes have been winners so far. I love that they only send wild caught seafood rather than farm raised, it's so much healthier and tastier. The caper marinade and lime juice added a lovely flavor to the salmon. The salad made with tomatoes, cilantro, Castelvetrano olives, olive vinaigrette, pumpkin seeds, lime juice, olive oil, salt and pepper was delicious. The rice that was cooked with shallot, garlic and achiote was really tasty. This dish had 770 calories and it was a very generous portion. It took about thirty-five minutes to prepare.

Peach Blackberry Smoothie Bowl

I have enjoyed all of the Sun Basket smoothie bowl recipes I have tried so far. I gave this one four out of five stars. The peach, almond milk, maple syrup, acai powder, hemp seeds, blackberries and Carlo's Grain Free Granola made for a scrumptious combination. I always get excited to receive Carlo's Grain Free Granola since it's so delicious and healthy. This breakfast recipe had 290 calories and it took about ten minutes to prepare.

Whole Grain Buttermilk Pancakes

I received an email that they made a mistake and added too much baking soda to the pancake mix. They gave everyone who ordered it a $15 credit for compensation which is generous. I could have made it with the Bisquick mix we have on hand, but we didn't get around to it.

Jungle Curry with Pork, Bok Choy & Eggplant

Hubby gave this recipe five out of five stars and I gave it four. It was really delicious! Whenever I see a Thai recipe or a recipe with bok choy or curry I order it since the odds are high that I will love it. This was a wonderful combination of pork strips, eggplant, shallots, bok choy, lemongrass paste, red curry paste, lime and basil. They precut the pork and prepared the curry paste & the lemongrass paste for us in advance saving us lots of time. This recipe took about forty minutes to prepare. It had only 610 calories yet it was scrumptious and such a generous portion that Hubby & I both had leftovers. If a restaurant nearby served this I would order it on a regular basis since it was that tasty.

It was another wonderful week of recipes and I look forward to the next Globetrotter recipe which will arrive tomorrow. It's Tandoori Style Chicken with Coconut Okra & Cilantro Rice. The one after that is Persian Trout with Tamarind, Barberries & Fresh Herbs. I highly recommend this subscription service and now is the perfect time to subscribe due to the scrumptious Globetrotter recipes!
